Luxury Villa 5 * - Cassis

We had stayed at the house for two weeks. The villa located in a gated community approximately 10 min drive from the center of Cassis and about the same distance from the beach. The house has stunning views of the sea and the mountains. The neighborhood is safe, peaceful and quiet. There are three refrigerators, a washer and a dryer, gas grill and a pool (hot-tub size) on the property. Almost all rooms have air conditioning, which was such a great feature. Plenty of seating area inside and outside for big groups, plus three parking spaces. We also had access to the big pool and a tennis court on the communal grounds. There are many great restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and coffee shops in the area. However, the house is in a tired and worn condition and in an urgent need of repairs/renovation. It really needs to be painted and deep-cleaned all over. The faucet in a master bedroom is very inconvenient to use. They either need to change it or reinstall the mirror. There were ants inside, which is not what you would expect from a "luxury" place. The internet connection was not very reliable, so we had to purchase a local mobile modem. Also, in all other places we stayed in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain over the years, the price always included a weekly cleaning and a change of bed linens. Not here, unfortunately. It is a great property. It just needs some love and care.

This was the perfect place for our week of vacation with our grown daughters. The location and the town are incredible with stunning views, wonderful restaurants and markets, and great hiking and swimming. The house was exactly what we were looking for, especially the wonderful outdoor living spaces and the small pool. The hosts were very responsive and made sure everything was seamless.

We traveled as a family of 7 to the South of France choosing a VRBO in Cassis. The view was amazing! The villa was big enough for all of us to have our own space! Everything seemed to be in working order. The villa offered a concierge. Stephanie and her son Ugo were just lovely! Ugo met us at the villa upon arrival and showed everything to us, Stephanie had made a grocery run so our fridge was stocked with the items I requested. The villa”s location was perfect as we were centrally located. We found it easy to travel around by car and see Lots of villages big and small! . Great having such an awesome home base! It exceeded our expectations. Well equipped and lots of space to play together, to chill, and eat.A strenuous walk into and back from town but not too much. Our hosts were helpful but not intrusive and it was a great base for local exploring plus visits by train to Marseille and by car to Aix. We had a lovely, three generation holiday.

We all enjoyed ourselves at the place. It was as described. would stay there again. Only issue, WIFI in the main house, never worked. We never got a reply from host on getting it to work. Only the WIFI in the pool house worked.

Comfortable for our group . Well equipt kitchen. Amazing views of Village and the sea.

We had an absolutely fabulous time at Pierre's villa in Cassis. The setting was beautiful and the villa was so accommodating it was hard to leave and go exploring! We were able to relax, swim, play tennis within the villa community as well as access local beaches and downtown Cassis extremely easily. The air conditioning in the bedrooms and main living area were incredible! And, the property manager, Pascal, was responsive and kind.

This place is quite lovely and a short drive from Cap Canneilles -(sp?). Stunning from from property and from the Cap. Only issue - privat pool on property is very small. There’s a larger more public pool but it was out of service for most of the time we were there.
