The place was clean and the owner Andrei did the best to accommodate us: washed our clothes, adopted the opening of the gates as far as possible to our schedule and bought a new internet router when wifi was blown out by a thunder storm. The view of the ocean and neighborhood was nice from the terrace. The place was clean and had all the basic functionalities, apart from fast internet. AC worked well as well as boiler, after tuning. Clean bed sheets and we rented extra towels for the ocean. Seemingly Nice but cunning 🐈‍⬛ cat- bit me in the arm after lots of cheese and love… This is a family run summer stay place for a few days or a week. It’s not a deluxe hotel, but it’s not bad either - functional but basic in design and the facilities. Built two years ago, so fairly new and the facilities in good condition. I like Andrey’s motorbike!

The internet connection was weak even after the new router - about 8/2 mint per second at the computer and 5/5 for the phones. At times during the zoom call I had the picture froze, and audio cut off. films take time to load and at times don’t show properly. If you need to do serious work online this is not your place. It’s far away from Odessa so don’t stay here if you want to visit Arcadia daily - stay here if yiu want to be close to the sea and just relax and talk walks in the neighborhood. The gate towards the street is locked at times when it should have been open (8.30 am, 11 pm for instance)- so you have to find the landlord so he can open- he’s not always nearby (even though he lives at the premises) and doesn’t always answer the phone- so u can risk getting locked in , or have to do a 500m detour to get out - and then your taxi 🚖 already might have gone. Since it’s far away from the city center, at times there is no taxi to be found when you need it the most - in morning rush hour or sat night going to the city for Arcadia, Party or whatever. You can only pay cash or w Ukranian bank online system - no international credit cards accepted… This is not where you stay to visit Odessa - this is where you stay to get away from Odessa, relax, be close to the ocean and eat nice fish and Xatchapuri by the ocean!
