GUESTHOUSE UMENOYA

Beautifully renovated guesthouse near the bus station in Wajima city, offers spotless single rooms with air conditioning for about 5500 JPY only. The guesthouse has three showers on site but in addition, it gives me free coupons to the best bathhouse in town and fresh new towels every day of my stay. The owner also runs a ramen shop next to the guesthouse and it offers cheap / excellent quality ramen! I love my 3 day stay in Umenoya. The guesthouse also has a washer / dryer that the guests can use for free. Highly recommend this place.

Everything is perfect!

It was nicely located in Wajima. Very quiet area. There are a few bars and restaurants in the area. I enjoyed the bar Kazu. Friendly people there.

The bed was a traditiknal tatami with a matras ontop. It was hard for me, as I am a side sleeper and it hurt me.

We arrived at 1.30 while check in time at 3. At first, the staff doesn't let us early checkin, we waiting. But then other staff which also a chef let us in early, warmly greeted and explain all the facilities. They show us the garage even another level since we came by bycycle and supersafely keep there. Plus we got very convenience bed part in shared dorm. Other guests came later than us and overall stay such a pleasant. We know that wajima has lil bit "waking up phase" but surprise we were there on sunday n everything(resto, attractions) close early like at 5 n 7pm. So quiet area. Glad that they have their own ramen resto we finally had dinner on. Familymart nearby as 1.3km.

So quiet, all shop nearby close early even not open.
