This is a small house 3-4 km from central Madalena, just off the main road to the airport. It's walkable to Cella bar, and there's a friendly bar at the campsite across the road where you can get a bifanas. The house is comfortable and very peaceful, which is just what we wanted after a few nights in Lisbon. There's a covered outdoor annexe overlooking a vineyard to the side, good for a glass of wine, which has a barbecue (which we didn't use). We only communicated by email with the owner, but the remote check-in was simple and we had no problems while we were there. The kitchen was well-equipped, including a Nespresso machine (with coffee).
Nothing else comes to mind - we had a great stay, and loved Pico.

Everything! Super clean, very quiet and remote location but still very close to the main area of Madalena. The hosts thought through everything and there was nothing missing in the house (from coffee to supplies to make a barbecue). One of my favourite stays!
