It was in a gated neighborhood, so we felt very safe. We had an easy walk to a quiet beach out the back door. We didn't realize we needed a car, so our host graciously drove us to the grocery store after we checked in. Once we rented a car, it was a lot easier to get around since there were no taxis and no restaurants and shops within walking distance.
The bathrooms weren't very clean and the mattresses were very hard.
