McCarthy Place

I like how the cabin had that distinctive smell of wood and pine inside and out it. I found it comforting and very relaxing. The appliances were not newer models, but that was the whole point of it. It feels a little bit retro going into the cabin, from the furniture , decor and amenities. It did felt as if I'd escaped from my regular lifestyle and disconnected from it. Internet and amenities were working great. Bed was surprisingly comfortable. My dogs loved the front sliding door and the comfort of nature.

I experienced some power outages due the fires in the surrounding areas, but it wasn't anything to be controlled by the host. Place is great. No A/C, but is manageable. Didn't see a bear, was hoping to run into one 😂.
