This updated, pet friendly house is set amongst the pines for that cabin in the woods feel, yet also provides quick, convenient access to the best of North Lake Tahoe. Whether you're visiting for work, winter snow days, or a summer of adventure, this inviting home offers the space, comfort, quality, location & setting you've been looking for. Please note, a short term rental license has not yet been obtained, so this home is available for rentals of 30 nights or more. If you are only looking for 2-3 weeks, please inquire anyway to discuss pricing for a 30 night period.
The Property:
Just a short drive from the sandy shores, sparkling waters, hiking & biking trails, and ski slopes, this 7726 Tahoe Vista is a newer home with great quality, style, and furnishings. Enter from the garage or front door and you'll find that this main, upper level is mostly one big, open space with vaulted ceilings and lots of natural light. Warm tones from the hardwood floors, trim, coffee table and kitchen island are balanced with grays and silvers of the leather sofa, soft carpet, and shiny stainless steel appliances, for a chic modern mountain style. Double ovens, double dishwashers, gas range with hood, a farmhouse sink, and open shelving make the fully equipped kitchen a delightful place to whip up your meals. The large island seats 4 and the dining table seats 6. There is also additional dining space on the back deck, which spans the entire width of the home, and also includes outdoor lounge furniture and a gas grill. Enjoy the towering evergreen forest and the sounds of nature, daily. When it's time to relax, the living room area includes a warm gas stove fireplace and a large HDTV. This main level of the home also includes a half bathroom for your convenience, or for your visitors.
All 3 bedrooms are downstairs, from the main level. The home is built into a hill, so the lower level is also ground level, to the backyard, which includes a grassy area for your pets and a private hot tub where you can rejuvenate your body after a day full of activity. The primary bedroom suite easily accommodates the king size bed. A ceiling fan and wall mounted TV make this a perfect place to relax in privacy. This bedroom suite also includes an office nook, a large bathroom, and a walk in closet. The bathroom features slate tile, a dual sink vanity, a freestanding jacuzzi tub, and a separate shower. (**Please note, the jacuzzi tub shown in the photos cannot be currently used due to a faulty drain assembly. The entire tub must be replaced and the homeowner expects this to occur in spring 2026) Bedroom 2 features a queen size bed, another ceiling fan, and another large closet. Bedroom 3 has a custom built “floating bunk bed,” where the upper bunk is mounted to the walls and suspended from the ceiling. Don't worry, it's mounted to the framing of the home, and very strong. Both the upper and lower bunk beds are double size beds. This third bedroom also includes a desk, wall mounted TV, and walk in closet. Off the hallway, there is another full bathroom, and like the others, this bathroom is beautifully done. Its dual sinks and the pocket door separating the vanity from the toilet and bathtub/shower combo makes this shared bathroom easy to share. Finally, the lower level includes a laundry room, right where you need it, close to all of the bedrooms!
The Location:
This home is located in the heart of North Lake Tahoe: Kings Beach and Tahoe Vista. The neighborhood is quiet, yet convenient. Just above the Old Brockway Golf Course, the home is only one mile from Kings Beach. The Northstar Ski Resort is less than 6 miles, right up highway 267, and if you prefer to hit the slopes at Palisades at Tahoe and the Olympic Valley, it is only 17 miles from this home. Much closer to home is another area you're sure to visit - Crystal Bay is just east of Kings Beach and the center of Incline Village is only 6.5 miles away. Want to head South? From here you can take your pick and drive along either the east or west shorelines, or do a round trip! There is so much to do and see, renting this home for a month or more is definitely the way to go.

Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:
– Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have.
– Accessing the property: Entry is on the main level. From the driveway or garage into the home, stairs are not required! Once inside, the bedrooms are down one level.
– Parking: There is parking for up to 4 cars, with 2 in the garage and 2 in the driveway. In the summer, parking along the side of the street is okay, for the occasional visitor. In winter, street parking is not permitted, for snow removal operations. If you need additional parking options, please contact us for more information.
– 4WD vehicle information: The roads in the area which lead to and from this property are generally easy to navigate and well maintained. However, please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

** Rental Agreements, Security Deposits, Rental Requirements - All hotels and rental properties have some rules and are subject to some amount of laws or regulations. After booking, a Vacation Rental Agreement will be provided. All guests are required to sign the agreement within 72 hours of booking, and prior to occupying the property. There may be other requirements. For example, Guests may be required to provide additional information about the group that will occupy the property and or identification documents. Background checks may be performed, and in some areas are required by local law. A Minimum Age Requirement of 30 years or higher may apply. Guests may be required to provide a credit card and or a refundable security/damage deposit. We will be in touch after you book to gather additional information and to email you the rental agreement, which you can sign electronically - no printer required. ** Amenities - Some private or shared amenities may not be available for guest use during certain periods. Some amenities, when part of a property, may close daily, seasonally, or for maintenance. As such, all amenities can not be guaranteed to be available at all times. Please advise us when or before booking if you have questions about a specific property amenity so that we can give you the most accurate information possible for your dates.
** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
** Pets & Fees - “Pet Friendly” means Dog Friendly only. If a property is pet friendly, then a per pet, per night fee will apply. Some online booking sites, such as VRBO, do not allow us to list the maximum number of pets per property. If you are renting a pet friendly property, and will have more than one dog, please reach out prior to booking to verify if the home will allow more than one dog. Additional fees will apply for more than 1 dog.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit. ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. For guests who are booking a lengthy stay of more than one week, a mid stay-cleaning fee equal to the final cleaning fee may apply for the second week, third week, and so on. If you are booking for a lengthy stay, please contact us before booking online to discuss your group, your dates, the rates, the cleaning schedule, etc.
