The view from the porch is amazing. The personal touches by Iris made us feel so welcome. We especially liked the enclosed yard and how child friendly the outdoor area is. The property is also well suited for a baby. This is a quiet spot with lots to do in the direct area as well. Communication with the host was very easy.

The kitchen is a bit small.

It‘s a very lovely and beautiful place to enjoy.

Villa Waulsort is a beautiful place to relax and hike in nature. The house was so cozy and clean and Iris did her very best to please us with so many nice suprises. The view from the terrace and garden at the mountains and the river was amazing and in the surrounding you can find so many nice places (woods, lakes, parks). We and our dog really enjoyed the time and it was a perfect trip!

Everything was perfect! Nice communication with the host, who gave us a very warm welcome. Clean and comfortable house with outstanding view to the river. Safe parking next to the house and everything you need to prepare your meals. Thank you for your hospitality!

We all felt so relaxed and happy at Villa Waulsort that no one wanted to leave.

The property is right on the river with beautiful views. The deck is huge and a lovely spot to soak in some sun while reading a good book.

I would have preferred a double bed upstairs but can completely understand why the property is set up this way. The owners might like to think about getting singles that can zip together for the upstairs room. This is a very minor issue though and doesn’t impact on how happy we were with the property and our stay there. We could have changed to the double bed downstairs if we were willing to part with the spectacular view. More a comment than a complaint.

A vacation in postcard scenery!

The house was exactly like in photos and description. The house had a lot of space for parking. It was very close to few restaurants and hiking paths started almost from doorstep. The house was beautiful, had all the possible things for cooking and bbq. It was easy to find and close to everything. We came by bike and the trip from Dinant was short enough to carry food shoppings. It felt like home and all the small details made the stay amazing. I will definitely plan another trip there since there is still so much to see in the area.

Super!

locatie was top. Huisje was helemaal in orde en voldeed zeker aan de verwachtingen. Alles proper en goed verzorgd. Ontzettend genoten van het goede weer op het mooie terras. Bij aankomst ook een leuke attentie van de host. Voor alle vragen konden we nog bij haar terecht. Al bij al een fantastisch weekend gehad daar.

Gezellig vakantie huis met zicht op de Maas , met heerlijk terras om van omgeving te genieten

Iris verwelkomde ons van harte ( van op afstand ) : verse bloemen op tafel , tafel gedekt, apero plateau stond klaar. Uitladen en onmiddellijk klaar om te relaxen. het huis is knus en heel gezellig ingericht, al het nodige is voorhanden... ook buiten is er heel veel zitplaats , verschillende terrasjes om volop van de zonnestraaltjes en het prachtige zicht op de Maas en rotsen te genieten. Twee kleinere en een grotere kamer verwelkomen comfortabel 6 gasten. Een afgesloten garage is super makkelijk om de fietsen op te bergen .. Iris is makkelijk contacteerbaar en efficiënt ( we waren de eerste logées na de warme zomer en de verwarmingsketel was nog niet opgestart, s morgens was het wat killig in huis , nog voor de middag was Iris langs geweest om alles op te starten. puik) opm wie op google maps kijkt en de spoorweg ziet achter het huisje: no worry, de trein rijdt niet meer

Opbergruimte in de kleine kamers is wat beperkt .

Leuk vrijstaand huisje met prachtig uitzicht.

Allereerst, de gastvrouw is helder in communicatie en zeer vriendelijk. Super! Leuk vrijstaand huisje met uitzicht op de rivier. Het huisje is volledig omheind dus ideaal voor de honden en eventueel kinderen. De badkamer boven vonden wij erg fijn in verband met het verschonen van een baby. Deze was ruim opgezet. Er was ook een baby badje en bedje aanwezig. Het terras voor het huis met bbq was ook ideaal.

De omheining om het huis is wel nodig, want de weg ervoor kan druk zijn en er word soms hard gereden. Er is geen trottoir voor het huis en we hadden begrepen dat we het bos aan de achterkant konden bereiken voor het uitlaten van de honden, maar helaas was de doorgang dicht begroeid. Later begrepen dat de gemeente dit niet heeft bij gehouden. Dit was voor ons wel belangrijk, omdat we nu ergens naar toe moesten rijden om de honden uit te laten. Zoals al eerder geschreven werd, is de keuken aan de smalle kant. Er kan maar een persoon staan, want je kan niet langs elkaar heen lopen. Los van wat hier beschreven is wel alles aanwezig wat je nodig hebt en leuk dat er ook nog wat klaar lag voor de honden 😊.

Prima verblijf.

De ligging van de woning aan de Maas is prachtig. De terrassen en omheinde tuin (handig voor ons hondje die mee was) zijn fantastisch. In huis is alles aanwezig wat aangegeven staat. De communicatie met Iris - de host- verloopt echt uitstekend. Je voelt je echt welkom wanneer je binnenloopt. Een mooie locatie om de omgeving vanuit te verkennen.

De vakantie was top, toch enkele opmerkingen/aanbevelingen. Gezien de prijs die wij betaald hebben (die wij vergelijken met eerdere vergelijkbare prijzen/woningen die wij gehuurd hebben) is deze wat ons betreft aan de hoge kant in vergelijk met het comfort/gemak wat wij eerder hebben ervaren bij andere woningen. Dan gaat het met name over het ontbreken van bijv. goede kastruimte, airco's en mogelijkheden om te wassen/drogen. Is dat erg, nee zeker niet want dit wisten we uiteraard van tevoren dat deze items niet aanwezig waren, maar het zou de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding wat ons betreft meer rechtvaardigen. Desondanks een aanrader om hier te vertoeven.

Een zeer leuk en gezellig weekend.

Een zeer leuke ontvangst van de host. Flesje cava, hapje, fruitschaal. Een gedekte tafel. alles leuk ingekleed. Het gezellig ingekleed terras met uitzicht op de Maas is een grote meerwaarde.

Het keukenmateriaal, vooral dan de grote messen enz, waren niet voorhanden. De koelkast stond uit en had wat tijd nodig om te koelen. Maar voor de rest was alles piekfijn in orde.

Parfait!!!

Maison vraiment magnifique. Idéalement située pour visiter les villes et villages aux alentours. La vue est exceptionnelle et l’intérieur de la maison vraiment douillet. Le contact avec la propriétaire était également super agréable. Vous l’aurez compris pour moi c’était parfait. J’y retournerai certainement.
