In a heatwave, being in a cool below ground floor, set in the ancient ramparts, was much appreciated. The welcome and helpfulness of the owner was exceptional including her advice on free parking nearby and where best to eat out. The location is perfect for visiting the several art galleries and restaurants, and as a base for visiting the local region. Céret is a charming old town and provides a very relaxing atmosphere. Well placed for a stopover for those wanting to explore further afield to Narbonne, Carcassone and the southern Pyrenees or the beaches of Argeles-sur-Mer.

Fine for a short stopover but for a lengthier stay, the lack of a kitchen might have proved slightly inconvenient. However, it does have a fridge, microwave and a clothes washer.

Prachtig en rustig gelegen midden in het centrum van Céret. Prima bed. Heel aardige gastvrouw en gastheer. Veel mooie kunst om te bekijken.

Accueil très sympathique. Très bien situé. Lit confortable. Équipement top.

Great hostess. Wonderful location. Very comfortable, clean, and well-provisioned. Unique, quirky place.

The only sink is at far end of hall from toilet and kitchen. Minor inconvenience. The only other thing I didn't like was that the windows were few and covered. A bit claustrophobic not being able to see outside at all. But the pros outweighed the cons. Must like cats!
