Amazing Home In Ceret With Wifi

The house is super comfortable, spacious and private. The interior design is lovely. The neighbourhood was quiet. We loved the balcony as it isn't overlooked and has great views.

There were no tea towels , washing-up equipment or soap. The host had said that we needed to bring our own towels and bedding, yet there were many towels and some bedding. So this was a bit confusing.

Great location and lovely big terrace, perfect for sunbathing, reading and eating.

Everywhere is dirty and clearly hasn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. The mattresses in the bedrooms are awful, not fit for purpose. The bedroom had a huge pile of someone else’s dirty bedding and towels to wash - apparently the policy is that guests wash the last guests dirty bedding although this wasn’t explained beforehand and clearly isn’t working as there was so much dirty washing left. The ‘clean’ bedding that was available in the cupboard included ripped sheets and ones with blood stains. The washing machine has a sign saying turn water off or basement will flood, so needs constant monitoring and water emptied when doing the washing so can’t be left unattended. The toilets were dirty and haven’t been cleaned for a very long time. There is no wifi and the tv doesn’t work. The outside space hadn’t been swept, covered in leaves and bird pooh.
