The property has a great location and is one of the few places that has a pool, it has AC which is greatly appreciated!

The towels smelled bad, as if they had not been cleaned properly, the staff was hard to find when we needed something (toilet paper, another pillow).

The grass needed to be cut. The place could use a new paint job. Its more like a hostel than a hotel or motel. My kids bed were hard. The towels felt like sandpaper.

It is not the best option to go kids, there were other guests smoking weed. I do not have an issue with it they were nice and friendly however it is not an environment for families with kids

Quiet oasis by the beach, super friendly vibe

We were made to feel welcome from the very moment we arrived, the guys who work there are so friendly and laid back - and offered us the chance to leave our bags or change and shower before checking in later that day. The site is super relaxed, a beautiful pool and different areas to sit. The room was incredible too, huge bed with air con and a fan and tv, great shower and kitchen facilities too. All round a great vibe, we only stayed one night but could have happily stayed for a week and made the most of the pool!

The location is quiet and away from the noise in Zicatela and La Punta, but walking to either in the day is a lot of walking in the sun. Probably best to take taxis or perfect if you have a car/motorbike.

Great location and excellent attention!

The location is great, very close to playa zicatela, there's no noise, everything is clean, personal attention is like nowhere else, parking for our motorcycles super close to the room. We had a problem on the road which made us get late to the property and the keys where on the security box. Next day Yako helped us no questions asked... thank you so much man!

Lovely hotel with pool and strong AC

great apartment in Zicatela with pool facing view and balcony. The AC was strong and there was decent water pressure. Fantastic pool and spacious grounds and the property manager was always around, cheerful and helpful. Free filtered water and there were 4 free bikes with locks to use. I suggest riding to Playa Carazillio for the afternoon. Steps to the beach though the busy areas of La Punta and Zicatela were about 6-8 mins walk in either direction.

my only complaint was the internet. I booked 3 nights and needed to work (lots of video calls) and the WiFi just didn’t cut it. it’s Telmex which is really spotty so I had to go to a cafe each day which was a total pain in the butt. Starlink is becoming more available in PE so book a place with that if you need strong WiFi!

The place is comfortably located about 1 km from main Zicatela Beach center, so it’s much calmer and suits better for family stay. easy access to beautiful beach. The hotel has a nice pool and kitchen. Short walk to a great Zicatela market where you can get any kind of souvenirs and food. Alfredo, Yakov and other hotel managers have been very kind and helpful.

Basic bungalow but not worth the cost

The bungalow was very rustic but clean.

The staff was courteous but not very welcoming. The location was considerably far from the central area of restaurants and shops. Cost of the bungalow was excessive compared to the house on the same property or other places closeby. The pool looked sketchy.

Great place to stay

The Place is really nice, next to a huge beach that is almost empty. It has a nice pool and easy access, we felt the property almost all for ourselves. We stayed in the cab which is really comfortable and has all you need to have a nice time around. The staff is friendly and totally useful.

We didn't manage to get hot water in the shower (although it wasn't really necessary so we don't asked for help about that). The pool in the morning had some small animals which felt in the night floating around, not nice to see

- Fridge was nealy unusable because of a disgusting smell coming out of it - Poor water pressure in the shower - Warm water was not always working and sometimes was grey and dirty - WiFi unstable and sometimes not working

No coffee. Need to pay for coffee:) Please, have a fresh pot of coffee on! I don't want to use the pod cups to make one cup and be charges 30 pesos.

Host communicates very well.. Yakob, the onsite contact, was delightful. Location is great, across street from the beach. Can hear waves clearly from open windows and on your balcony.

I tolerated a lot for the location: No A/C as advertised. Bug poop in my bed every morning. Dead cockroaches upon arrival and continued to be found during stay. An animal lives in the roofing and the sounds keep you up at night. Ants takeover kitchenette so I never could use it. No working electricity at night and in mornings. Headboard has half-inch layer of dust. I slept under my covers every night.

Safe and super fun place.

Secluded yet near the action; super safe and fun place. Love how the vegetation keeps the place naturally cool, and how you can play your favorite songs on the bluetooth speaker under the palapa by the pool. There several bikes free of charge, how cool is that!!. We borrowed two for the entire day :) Not to mention the awesome super host Yaco, who’s is always so happy and eager to help ❤️

Perhaps some interior fresh paint and other maintenance would make it a perfect place

great location of the object in the vicinity of the beach - not too close, so it's comfortable during night, because waves doesn't wake you up.

Despite I like pets very much so does my family, I can imagine people who could be afraid of rothweiler freely roaming within the area of the object. One visitor might like it, the other not. For us, pets (dogs and cats) were very friendly.

Awesome place to stay

Everything was awesome. We showed up a bit earlier than I anticipated and Yakov was quick to finish cleaning the room and get us settled in. He was very helpful with extra towels, calling taxis, etc. The view is amazing and I loved that the property was in a very quiet spot. Super easy access to the beach and the pool was fantastic as well. The price was great value as well.

Only that Yakov + family was having a party the night before we needed to leave, which kept us up until the early morning hours.
