Airport Guest House

Location is convenient , very close to the airport. It’s in a small rural village 7 min drive from the airport. The hotel has a garden and a field in front of it. Very friendly personnel . Rooms are clean. Antimoskito net on the door was very important as there were quite a few mosquitos outside.

Lamp in the room was not working properly, we could not use it in the evening . Was blinking , in the end we could not read and switched off the light. We could also hear pretty well the guests in the neighbour room.

Location very good, service excellent although accommodation quite basic. Host went above and beyond to try to make us feel welcome although we arrived at 01.30.

The facilities in the bathroom could be updated.

They only accepted cash for dinner and breakfast so beware. They did accept euros, sterling and Turkish lira which was just as well.

Airport B&B was in an excellent location for the airport. The owner and his partner are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They worked hard to make our 1 night stay comfortable. The rooms are extremely clean with fresh white bedding. The bathroom is immaculate and showers are hot and good. Lovely Turkish breakfast very plentiful with choice of coffees and refreshment. The food is very fresh. Beautiful views of the mountains.

However the internet is very intermittent and not good for business use. The owner did his best to resolve the issue but explained it’s an issue in Turkey for internet. We were grateful he tried everything however the hotel was full and too many people using it. Our room could have been improved with a couple of lamps, mirror in the room for us ladies and a few pictures on the wall would be nice. It looked like a refurbed room so maybe not hot round to it yet. There was an insect mesh door which was really handy stop the pesky mosquitoes.
