Everything was great ... the pool and the large pool area is just fabulous. Angelo was super-helpful and always quick to respond, e.g. when we needed help with the barbecue .. we were very grateful for that. We loved the location ... ordinary, not glamorous, but that suited us fine! ... all the glamour stuff is not far away if you want it, and the very-walkable train station for Naples was great fun (tho' for a late-evening return you need to pre-book a taxi at (say) Pompeii Scavi, as the green connecting line closes early). Sole 365 just down the road is a great supermarket (fresh meat, cheese, good wine selection); Pizza e Pacchieri is a fab pizza takeaway (better than Lupin up Via Tricino, tho' that was fine too) and also has great takeaway wine (Piedirosso from Cantina Santarpina). Only problem was the familiar tension between 'so much to do, yet so great to chill' - a terrific place for chilling! Would love to return ... BUT Sorrento, Positano were busy, going on too busy, in late May, would HATE to try them.in full summer - stick by the pool instead! Thanks to Angelo ... arrivederci? I do.hope so!
Only negative was lack of welcome folder/property information about e.g. recycling and rubbish collection ... but Angelo made up for that, so it didn't matter. He lives across the road - always available, but NEVER intrusive! 😃 (and made check-in very easy when unsure of arrival time)

This Villa is really beautiful, spacious and perfect for what we needed. I travelled with my mam and my uncle who has dementia. We each got a bedroom and my uncle had his own en suite bathroom aswell. The grounds and the views I could have happily looked at everyday for the rest of my life and not had enough, truly stunning. There was ample eating space with a dining table in the kitchen, 1 outside the kitchen on the terrace, and a very large table in the poolside kitchen. Down by the pool is where we spent most our time. You have a working sink, fridge and BBQ, aswell as plenty of seating, table football, sunloungers, a large cushioned swing, a hammock and lots of cover from the sun. The villa is fully secure and private with automatic gates at the front. Inside the villa we found everything we needed, from a welcome package of food stuff, cutlery, crockery and cooking pots and pans. There is a sliding door cupboard we jokingly called the "Aladins cave". This had your washing machine, iron and board, washing detergent and softner, aswell as all kinds of helpful things like a first aid kit, bug spray, plug adapters, wine glasses, bigger cooking trays, suncream and so much more. The host was also extremely friendly and welcoming and came round early morining to clean the pool area, and one of the days when we got stuck in town with shopping he very kindly came and got us in his car.
Negatives: 2 of the double beds are very comfortable, but I found mine in the 3rd room far too hard for me. Thankfully we had spare mattresses as we didnt need the single beds, so i just used those on my double frame. There are 2 fridges outside but we could not get one ( a drinks fridge) to work, but we had space in the main one anyway. Whilst the en suite shower worked great for my uncle, the shared one never stayed at a consistent temperature, quickly changing from hot to cold to hot again. The location does not have very much around and anywhere you want to eat does not open until after 6pm, so we regular ended up on the local train to pompei (7mins slow walk, €1.50 each, and runs frequent from 8ish in the morning until around half 8 at night) Local dogs do bark a lot but this didnt bother us, and there are fireworks going off everynight.

The outdoor dining areas & BBQ were lovely & the pool was just fabulous! Really comfortable & spacious bedrooms inside & it was spotlessly clean & well equipped. The owner left us a lovely welcome pack with lots of goodies which was very much appreciated! Plenty of parking space within the Villa grounds too (we had two hire cars).
We loved the property overall but the kitchen/lounge area is very small for 6 adults, however this room leads onto a spacious outdoor dining veranda so we used this most of the time. The plug sockets are sparse in the bedrooms and we struggled to find ones that fitted our EU adapters - We also experienced intermittent power cuts a couple of nights in the area but it wasn’t down for long periods and didn’t really affect our stay. The sun loungers could do with updating as they were a little bit uncomfortable.
