Es war sehr gut ausgestattet und rein
Die Lage war insofern schlecht weil die Unterkunft ebenerdig und direkt neben der Straße war. Die Fahrzeuge fuhren teilw. mit mehr als 50 km/h vorbei im Abstand von ca. 2m zu den Fenstern. Dies führte zu erheblicher Lärmbelastung auch auf Grund der baulichen Substanz. Es war weiters nur ein großer Raum (Küche und Schlafraum wobei der Kühlschrank sehr oft einschaltete und auch ca 20 min. lief, was auch den Schlaf störte. Hinter der Kopfseite des Bettes befand sich eine verdeckte Tür die offensichtlich in eine Garage führte. Diese Tür bewegte sich immer wieder auf Grund von Druckunterschieden hervorgerufen durch Fahrzeuge od. Windes. Der direkt naheliegende Strand Praia do Paraiso war wegen Algenverschmutzung nicht benutzbar desgleichen der in Cavoeiro befindliche kaum (wurde jeden Tag schlechter da keine Entfernung der Algen stattfand, zudem starker unangenehmer Geruch)

Location and proximity to the beach was amazing. Close enough to take a few minute walk down to the beach and have an evening swim.
While the apartment had all of the ammenties you could want, one we found missing was a beach umbrella given the very close proximity to the beach. To that end, we bought one at a local vendor and left it in the apartment for the future travellers to enjoy. We hope it stays with the apartment for a long time and that many travellers get to enjoy the use of it on the beach.
The only other thing we didn't like was that due to there being no bug screens on the windows, when we arrived there quite a few little black flies on the curtains. We didn't really give them another thought until the next morning when my wife woke up with close to hundred bites (I actually counted one morning while applying after-bug-bite ointment) on her. Those itched her for the remainder of our trip and definitely impacted her mood.
