Winter getaway

The house was very cozy, clean, and in a great location. It was perfect for playing games, watching football and just relaxing. My son had the most fun sledding down the ice covered neighborhood roads. We will definitely come back and stay here.

This adorable Tahoe cabin was the perfect place to spend Christmas. Decorations in every room and thoughtful touches like kids' plates/cups, hooks everywhere, lots of blankets, cooking utensils to make a feast, and close to Heavenly and everything else make this a cabin we'll want to visit over and over again in any season.

This house was in a great neighborhood and location, close to everything. It was exceptionally clean, newly remodeled, and very pleasantly decorated. It had everything we could have asked for (including comfy beds) and was the perfect place for our family of four! We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

You are a couple miles from the casinos, right down the street from the Lake and food places are everywhere. The house is decorated so cute and has every convenience, in a quiet neighborhood with the cutest cabins. We brought our bikes and there’s bike trails all around. Would definitely stay right here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tahoe topped off by our stay at the Opheim’s cabin. They have done a fabulous job in providing all the amenities one could hope for. Kudos to the individual(s) responsible for decorating the premises. Certainly ranks at the very top of similar accommodations we have experienced.

Perfect vacation house in a terrific location

Perfect vacation house in a terrific location

We spent four days in this great little vacation house just off of the lake in South Lake Tahoe, and we loved it. The house has been recently and lovingly renovated, and is in terrific shape. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms and a combined kitchen / living room / family room space, it's extremely well-laid-out to take the family and encourage them to spend time together. It's also very conveniently located: just around the corner from Safeway and Lake Tahoe Blvd., and ten minutes or less from Heavenly. My family loved it and we're hoping to return soon! One last important point: the owner was very receptive to questions and communicative. We didn't need anything critical but he was available for us if need be, which is always reassuring.

Amazing get away

Went for the weekend hoping to get away from the city and had an amazing time. It's a short drive to everything, but a very quiet and calm neighborhood. The house is beautiful and spacious, plus it has all the things you might need for your stay.
