Nice location. Older home, not updated, comfortable if your expectations are moderate. Bring your own dish towels. Bath towels and bedding were nice. Kitchen has a microwave, but it is not listed in the amenities. Be ready to shovel if you go up when it is snowing.

originally we reserved for summer, but we asked to rebook for winter because of the wildfires and bad air quality in the area. property owner kindly accepted our request. we had great time at the cabin, which is very cozy and suited perfectly for our family with 2 kids and a small dog. it is also offered at a very reasonable price. we will be coming back!

Like a previous reviewer noted, the hide-a-bed is terrible. If you're advertising it sleeps six it should do so comfortably . The couch isn't even comfortable to sit on and neither are the chairs. Fortunately we didn't go to Tahoe to watch TV. It was miserably hot inside the first part of our trip and this house does not have A/C. Not even a window unit. Our fault for not checking. Fans are in the house but it was up to 84 degrees one night during our stay, they didn't help much. And the one in the living room was broke so someone had to sleep very hot a couple nights. The last 2 days of our stay it was cold..and the house was 60 degrees inside in the morning and the heat would not turn on and no,instructions how to use. That said the house is practical, well equipped and had everything we needed to use. Although dated it's close to the beach and in a nice quiet neighborhood. Overall a good value but this was our experience.

Perfect little spot. It reminded me of our cabin back home near Shaver. It’s not modern and fancy, which isn’t something we were looking for in Tahoe anyways. The beds are comfy, shower works great. If you plan to use the sleeper sofa because you need the extra bed, I’d recommend an air mattress to throw in top because its a little lumpy — which to me is expected from a sleeper sofa anyways. There are bikes and chairs in the shed to use along with a BBQ. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Great sitting area out back to hang out. It’s in a perfect location close to everything, but far enough from the bustle of “the strip” to feel like you’re on a quiet vacation. It’s literally a 5-minute drive from casino area if you need to run back home for anything. Bob responds to questions right away. We would definitely stay here again.

It was great to find a place that is so pet friendly! Cabin was clean. Beds were comfortable. I've never slept in softer sheets. Backyard was great for the dogs. Pooper scooper provided. The nightly rate was fantastic. The last night before we left we found that there was a beautiful meadow just a short walk up the road. I'd definitely stay here again.

I was really exited to be in this little cabin, the check in was súper easy. Everything inside looked clean until at night we try to use the extendable sofa/bed! It was dirty with sand and some little pine debris. I took out the liner and just bring some extra sheets, then we laid down and we can feel the interior spring, it was so so inconfortable that we just put it back and sleep in the floor. Is more like a cabin for 5 not 6 people. The neighborhood was very quiet and easy to get in and out. For my kids the back yard was so helpful to get some stem out. Planning to come back on the winter with a inflatable bed, just in case the mattress of the couch haven’t been replaced.

This little cabin was perfect for my family of 5 and 2 dogs. We couldn’t get the tv or WiFi to work but it very well could have been user error. The beds were comfortable. The gas fireplace kept the cabin warm. The location was perfect! Close to everything! And the fenced in yard was great for dogs and kids. Would definitely book again.

The perfect little place to stay for a few days out of the “office.” The home is super cozy and has everything you need (except a TV right now. But, it’s Tahoe...there’s nature to enjoy instead). Great property for the price

I stayed here for a little under a week with my boyfriend. We wanted a 2 BR so that we could each work from home and take calls, and a fenced in backyard for the dog. WiFi was great. Our dog loved playing in the snow, and walking to the lake was great! We cooked most meals in the kitchen and that worked out really well. The shower has no tub but the showerhead is awesome, it didn't even bother us that there was no tub. This was a great little cabin for our work/snowboarding getaway!

We had an excellent stay and best little winter family vacay! The cabin was very clean and we loved that it had a fenced in yard for the dog and kiddos to romp in the snow. It was cozy and warm and had plenty of bedding, towels, and amenities to make our stay comfortable. My son now loves dominos and can’t wait to play again. We did have a family movie night and was a little disappointed we couldn’t get the HDMI hookup on the TV to work. I was also nervous the washer was out of order with kids ya just never know! But, thankfully we didn’t need it. We would definitely stay here again! We are so glad that Santa arranged this snow trip for the kids and found it for us :)

We had a great time at this property! The space was just what we needed - not too large, not too small and it also had great outdoor space. It was central to everything - we did lots of hiking around the area all within about a 30 minute drive. We also loved being able to walk right into town and to the lake. Location and size of property was super! The only hiccup was on the first day where we couldn't locate the wifi address or password, but found it eventually. No big concern. The house was spacious for our needs. Our dogs loved the ample room of the back and side yard. Where the house is located, made it convenient to get to any place we might have wanted to go to. Due to the current pandemic some activities were curtailed and with all the fires within the state, it put a damper on things. but by the middle of our stay , the smoke cleared and Tahoe was back to its picture postcard reputation. We loved staying at Bob's house! We will stay there again. We have told family and friends about this place.

This home is located in a quiet neighborhood near the lake. About a 20 minute walk or a quick 5 minute drive is all that is needed to get to the lake and the beautiful views. The home has everything you need to be comfortable. The outside wood chairs are especially great to sit in at dusk and breathe in the clean, fresh, pine-filled Tahoe air. The location is perfect. The price is perfect. Communication with the owner is great. Would recommend to anyone. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.
