About this house rental
DIRECTLY ON THE FRIO RIVER
The Frio House has it's very own deep water swimming hole that never goes dry!
It is is a family owned vacation rental property directly overlooking the Frio River in Leakey, Texas. There is a little bit of everything for everyone on this part of the river...deep water, shallow water for the little kiddos, private rope swing, small rapids that you can hear from the back deck, and mountain & sunset views. The deck is a perfect spot to enjoy that morning coffee overlooking the peacful river. There is a fire ring to roast s'mores and enjoy with your family when the sun goes down. A rocking bench sits half way down the steps below the back deck and the river to enjoy more wonderful river views.
The main house living area has vaulted ceilings and an open floor plan. The spaciousness of the living area makes visiting with your family and friends easy. Prior guests have found the house to be very cozy and a great place to reconnect with family and friends. It consists of the main house, the attached bunk room, & a guest apartment. The house has steps & railing leading down to the river below. It accommodates up to 15 people; perfect for that family vacation you have been wanting to take.
Please note that The Frio House is a non-smoking property. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property, inside or outside. No animals allowed inside or outside.

Great location. Something for everyone on this spot of the river. Bigs enjoyed the rope swing and the littlest enjoyed the shallows.

The Frio House was amazing and perfect for our family of 10. There are 3 separate quarters including the main house/two bedroom. Due to the drought the river was low but we enjoyed swimming and fishing in front of the house. The Frio House has everything you need to cook including a grill. We made fun memories and can't wait to go back! Thank you Chris and Rebekah!
