Very nice, large historic home! Kitchen was updated and well stocked. Location was excellent, walking distance to downtown. Bedrooms were large with plenty enough room for all 10 of us. We will be renting again.

The location couldn't be better for our trip. Its right at the edge of downtown, walking distance to a donut shop, restaurants, and a coffee shop. Only 10 minutes from the fairgrounds. I'll start with the pros: The kitchen is well appointed and included some spices! The home is beautiful. Plenty of space. Plenty of towels and bedding were provided. Overall the home was clean and spacious. The welcome board in the kitchen highlighting local restaurants and shops as well as providing info about the property was a great touch. Bedrooms were beautiful and laid out very well. Despite being a historic home we didn't have any issues with noise or waking each other up. The host also provided snacks! Cons: the listing advertised a BBQ grill. But I confirmed with the host that it didnt have one. We were hoping to grill and its one reason we booked. The master bed was pretty worn down and rather uncomfortable. After 3 nights my back hurt. The upstairs shower lacked adequate water pressure. But, the hot water was good and despite having 4 adults in the house we had plenty of hot water. The fence around the back "yard" was broken/laying down when we arrived. I was disappointed because a fenced area to take our kids outside was another reason we booked this property. The living room couch was overly broken in and bowed/sagged in the middle and wasn't very comfortable. The ad also listed an ice maker, but there were only ice trays in the freezer to make your own ice.
