Scarborough Hills, located in Narragansett, Rhode Island, summer weekly rental available. 1 1/2 blocks from Scarborough State Beach. Minutes from many other beaches. Half hour to Newport; less than an hour to Providence. Family-owned Cape Cod style, airy, clean cottage with 5 large rooms. Ceiling fans in living room, kitchen and each bedroom. 1 1/2 bathrooms, parking. 2 bedrooms - each with queen bed and 2 additional queen air mattresses. Box fans and table fans also provided. Linens - towels and sheets provided. Large living area with couch, loveseat, 2 chairs, all leather, with 2 additional chairs. Combo Dining/Kitchen area furnished with hardwood table and 6 chairs; washer, dryer, dishwasher, gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, equipped with dishes, flatware, utensils, pots + pans. Internet and streaming service included. Lawn furniture, gas grill, picnic table, enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower.

We had a really great stay. The location is excellent...walking distance to Scarborough Beach, and close to a lot of other spots in Narragansett. We didn't spend a lot of time at the house, but were comfortable when we did. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and there were beach chairs and a wagon to use.I booked without realizing the house didn't have AC. Temperature wise it never felt hot or stuffy, even on the day there was a heat advisory. The one downside was everything was a bit sticky from the humidity, but no one was overly bothered by this.Sara was a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you!

" We spent 2 wonderful weeks in RI and the property we stayed at was a definite plus. The house is exactly the way it is described online as well as the location to Scarborough Beach. You can actually see the ocean from the front of the property! The house can easily accommodate 4-6 people. Generally speaking, the neighborhood was very quiet. However, this is not an isolated house by any means, so if that's what you're looking for this is not it. The property was clean and well maintained, and the owner made herself available in case of problems. When a beach chair didn't work properly we asked for a replacement and the owner went out and bought 2 new beach chairs! We loved being so close to the ocean as well as many other places in RI for sightseeing and hiking. Because our stay was great, I hesitate to even mention any negatives, which were few. Online, under general amenities, an alarm clock, paper towels and toilet paper are mentioned. There was no alarm clock and only a few days worth of toilet paper and paper towels. Since we were staying 2 weeks it would have been nice to have had these things provided. However, these minor inconveniences certainly did not put a damper on our stay. We would highly recommend this property to a friend or family member. "
