Wir haben ein Apartment gewählt, somit Selbstversorgung, was wir ja auch so wollten. Der Wohnraum ist klimatisiert. Das Apartment ist modern und nett eingerichtet. Man kann sagen: Es fehlte (eigentlich) an Nichts. Die Terrasse ist recht groß mit netten Sitzmöglichkeiten, sie lädt zum Relaxen ein. Die Vermieter sind echt nett und zuvorkommend.

Da fällt uns eigentlich nichts dazu ein, war alles supi! Zum Strand muss man schon ca. 10-15 min laufen, was aber auch über google maps ersichtlich ist. In der Hitze, bei ca. 30 Grad im Schatten, kam es manchmal schon recht lang vor.

It was a perfect location in the center of Porec. The apartment was in excellent condition and had all the necessary appliances. Exceptionally clean. The most outstanding aspect was the host, Petra. She responded promptly to every question and request and always with a big smile. She lived next door to the apartment and was always available.

I appreciated the fact that the area is quiet, even if it is quite far from the sea.

There is a lot to say in this regard, but I will highlight only the most important aspects. The biggest problem I had was with the owner, who although I made the reservation about 5 months in advance and collected all the money in advance (and here she did not respect the payment 50% in advance and the rest at the location - she collected all the money at once 3 months before the stay), he called us 1 day before on some embarrassing pretext. He said that we still have to pay 42 euros for resort taxes and that if we do not pay them we can cancel the reservation. Basically we were on the road and he had to talk to the booking people to solve the problem. He tried to cancel the reservation, after doing his job with our money for months and because he noticed that the Porec area was full and could practically sell to other tourists at a higher price. The apartment is practically in the owners' house and you feel supervised at every move you make. A total discomfort from this point of view. At about 5 m from your terrace, there is another terrace of an older lady, who if you dare to talk on the stairs gives you some poisoned looks that you feel like getting in the car and going home. It was a major stress for the children that we did not let them speak normally and we always warned them to speak in a whisper. Parking is a joke, under a cherry that in one night stained the car so that I had to go on vacation to wash the car. As I only found self service, I turned into a car wash of need. Also you can park directly in the steet. The internet is very poor. I stayed 1 week and did not change the sheets or towels even once. Unacceptable from our point of view, we had to wash our towels ourselves. This in the conditions in which he falsely told us every day that everything we need is there to solve, but if you ask for something the prompt answer is not possible, you have to solve it. Generally a negative experience with a stressed and stressful person.
