CANALFRONT Avon - Bonito Rd. - It’s a breeze to find your vacation rhythm at SUMMER WIND, an ideal retreat for those who feel a close connection to the water. That’s because this four-bedroom/four full- and one-half-bath home sits right on the grassy edge of a canal where the tranquil water views ease you into total relaxation.
Pull into the carport and unload your cars using the convenient cargo lift. The first level reveals three spacious bedrooms: a queen with private deck access; another queen; and a room with two sets of bunks, perfect for the kids. Each bedroom offers its own ensuite bath and new smart TVs. There is also a family room on this level with a smart TV and brand-new foosball table and access to a furnished screened-in porch.
The fourth main bedroom, a king with private bath, is located on the upper level. Here, too, is the home’s great room, newly furnished and flooded with natural light from walls of water-facing windows. The open kitchen features new appliances and a three-stool breakfast bar to enjoy your morning coffee as you map out your day. The seven-seat dining table and the living room area featuring a new smart TV offers just the right amount of space to enjoy each other’s company.
As the stars come out to play, take advantage of the upper-level deck and a soak in the six-person hot tub to fully appreciate the evening allure of the Outer Banks.

The property is in a great location with beautiful views! Unfortunately, the hot tub would not warm up! We aren't big into that so it wasn't a huge problem. The only frustration we had was the air conditioning. It was set on 72 during the day and at night, it fluctuated. You could turn it down to 70 for 2 hours and then there were times it would go up to 75 at night... The warm temperatures caused us to wake and we would have to adjust the thermostat again. It would not go lower than 70 and would only hold there for 2 hours. The temperature fluctuation made restful sleeping difficult.

It was a great place to stay for a family setting, all rooms equipped with bathrooms.
The beds were comfortable. It could have been much cleaner, under the beds were items from the previous renters, there were dirty dishes in the cabinets and overall could have been given a bit more attention. Other than that the bathrooms seemed clean and everyone enjoyed their stay.
