Short but lovely stay

Our hosts at Fredensholm Annex were able to accommodate us last minute when our prior reservation cancelled on us on the evening we were to arrive. The hosts were very welcoming and we booked all three rooms in the annex so it was perfect for our group. We loved the quiet, beautiful surroundings. It was spotlessly clean.

A Perfect Setting & Fabulous Hosts

Our last-minute stay at Fredensholm Annex (after a long day of driving scenic routes) ended up being one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences of our trip. The setting is somewhat remote and delightfully quiet, surrounded by stunning views. We were lucky enough to meet both of our hosts, and now consider them to be new friends. Our room was spotlessly clean with chic minimalist decor. I was particularly thrilled with the sleek shared bathroom (high-quality fixtures and no detail overlooked when making selections). An added bonus: the fancy espresso machine in the entryway. The icing on the cake was meeting not only the hosts, but also the two resident cats with the friendliest personalities I have encountered in a long time. I only wish we could have stayed a few more days. This property is truly a gem. We will visit again when we return to Denmark! - Shannon & Dominic (New York)

Great place hidden in the forest of Skanderborg. You wouldn’t think such a place exists when u drive there. Like heaven when u finally arrive.

Zen feeling in the Danish countryside

Such a comfortable bed, and brand new minimalistic shower/bathroom. Very relaxing. Ecological awareness, lovely teas and coffee to make yourself. The breakfast too was very well, thoughtfully prepared with organic Danish products.

You may have to wait for someone else using the bathroom.

Prima, modern, schoon en heel rustig

Superschoon en alles zag er nieuw uit. Heel modern en wit (moet je van houden, wij wel😀). Geschikt voor overnachten, niet echt een vakantie verblijf voor langere periode. Lokatie is bijzonder: in het midden van nergens, bereikbaar via een prima zandpad (auto wel wassen daarna, als het regent)

Vi skulle til koncert i Hornsens og havde derfor lejet det er anneks så vi ikke behøvede at køre hele vejen til Nordsjæl

Alt var pænt og rent, chokolade på sengen og store værelser. Enormt sød vært der altid var til at komme i kontakt med. Sengene var super gode at sove i og der var fred og ro. Stedet ligger rigtig langt ud på landet, og det er derfor nødvendigt med bil, vi havde bil, og kunne sagtens finde på at komme tilbage. Der var intet der skuffet, tværtimod!

Jeg kunne lide alt ved overnatningsstedet, der er ikke en finger at sætte på noget af det.
