The proprietor was very nice and we required nothing extra from or off him, we liked the open bar, but it might have been funny if there were more visitors. Typically Spanish Building, a little dated but that added to the charm of our stay.

The building being quite a charming one, does have a lot of different levels, which require quite high steps, this was a slight problem, but we managed OK.

Quaint cycling hotel in a sleepy Spanish town

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way to the Port of Denia, which is around 20 minutes drive away. The hotel was really welcoming and had a relaxed vibe that we enjoyed. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean.

There was a flagpole with a flag flying on the outside wall of our room, and since it was a windy night, it was quite noisy. This is quite a niche complaint, but I’d recommend they take the flags down on windy nights.

This was a very short stay as we were on a road trip, but for the price, the accommodation far exceeded our expectations

I had messaged the property a few weeks in advance to mention we would be arriving after midnight, they agreed it would be ok and on the day of our stay we received clear instructions on how to access our room. The room was lovely, and very comfortable beds.

Charming, comfortable, friendly hosts.

The hosts were really great, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Very charming accommodation. Great selection of Belgian beer. The food was great too. The local pool is also very close.

The hosts didn't understand Valencian/Catalan. This is just a very minor point. We learned a few Dutch words though and their English was excellent!!! Everything else was great.

Hospitality was super!

Nancy & Geoffrey are super hosts! They do whatever they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. The food was good (dinner and breakfast) The rooms are big, and the beds were really good. It was clean everywhere, and good atmosphere :) If you are on a bike holiday, this seems to be the perfect spot :) We were on a road trip, and we stayed for just one night.

There was a heat wave in the area when we were staying there, and the air condition didn't manage to get the room as cold as we would like. But, it was definitely a lot cooler than outside :) We didn't read the description properly, so we were not aware that you have to pay extra to use the neighborhood pool. But, to summarize: We had a very nice stay. These are just details.

Meta Volante made our first cycling trip to Spain absoutely awesome!

Everything was 1st class. Nancy & Geoffrey exceeded all expectations. Very welcoming, friendly, accomodating. Super breakfast. Awesome service. Our daily cycling "post training" diet of Coffees, Estrella's and Waffles were outstanding. Quite simply a stunning stay! Juliet the dog was the icing on the cake.

Wanna feel like at home while being on holidays? Then your place is Meta Volante. Nancy and Geoffrey will always welcome you and will attend your requests with a smile. They love what they do and they transmit it. Indeed, the place is really clean and cozy. If you love hiking or biking, having the calm of the nearby mountains but not being far from nice beaches of Denia (15 kms), this is for sure your place. Thanks Nancy and Geoffrey. Hope we can meet again soon!

The place has a lot of character. Rooms are spacious. Lots of great details everywhere you look. Very polite and hospitable staff. Comfortable and great value. Everything very clean and very nice crepes for breakfast! We'll be back!

Absolutely nothing to complain about. You need a car to get around and about from there but nothing negative regarding the actual place.

The host is very nice, available for every information that you need.

I was disappointed by the breakfast. For 8 euros per person, I expected to be a English one type. Moreover, I recommend to put a printed paper in the room with, at least, instructions for the tv and wi-fi password.

Quiet, in a pretty area, very nice hosts, swimming pool nearby.

The beds were comfy but mattresses moved around. The communal swimming pool closed for a few hours during the day.

Heerlijk verbleven, erg gastvrij, nette kamers en badkamers

Prachtige B&B, aardige host, wij waren er buiten het seizoen en mochten ons zelf bedienen in de bar. Veel wielrenners die aan het trainen waren in de buurt en de B&B is daar ook helemaal op ingericht met o.a. verhuur van fietsen.

CASA MUY FRÍA SIN CALEFACCIÓN. NI SE TE OCURRA ALOJARTE EN INVIERNO.

Se trata de una casa antigua de pueblo que está congelada en invierno. No hay calefacción. Tienen una chimenea pero no la usan. Las habitaciones tienen aparato de aire acondicionado que da más aire frío que caliente. Pagamos dos noches y solo nos quedamos una. Salimos de ahí por la mañana temprano porque era imposible estar en el desayuno y en las zonas comunes del frío que hacía.
