The host was very accommodating. The villa is very close to a lake, and has everything you need for a nice stay.

The owner was the best! He took extra care of us as we had a pretty bad weather outside. So he offered us a sauna free of charge and even brought us a jar of honey - to have a warm finish of our evening. The location is great - by the lake-and also it is close to Trakai(if you want to do some sightseeing)

The oven was a bit dirty and rooms were a bit dusty.

Our stay in Viesu Vila was very nice, mostly due to the very friendly host and beautiful piece of nature. We didn't stay at this listed house (which was pretty new and also better in terms of facilities), instead, as we were the only guests at the time, the host allowed us (on our request) to stay in the small sauna house, that is directly at the water. The vila is 10km away from Trakai, so having a car it's a nice destination for a day trip. Relaxing on the porch, swimming, calm, nature, sauna, swans coming by every evening and storks - all in all it was exactly (and even more) what we were looking for. Thank you very much!

We are simple people and we liked everything. However, as the vila complex is extending, there are still ongoing building works around (although nothing was happening when we were there).
