Please could the property invest in generators / Solar panels so we don't have to stay in the dark when there is load shedding we can still continue with our vacation. Also please could you add an aircon

You can’t beat the location and the view! We’ve been visiting Uvongo for 30 years and Le Crete is the best location!

Unlike every other booking this one was not great. Ensure you read the small print! The usual “welcome to Uvongo and the suite” that offers all the information needed for a comfortable stay (wifi password, how to use the tv, brochures for local places of interest etc) was a book of rules instead which basically sums up this offering. I asked specifically about the stairs for my elderly father who just had surgery and can not handle stairs. While there is a side gate, there is scaffolding and uneven ground to navigate to get to it and it gets locked at 6pm. None of this was mentioned when I asked about the stairs before booking. Luckily the security is friendly and once found would come open the gate after 6pm, but not ideal at all. There are no towel’s provided. We arrived after all stores were closed after travelling for a full day to find no towels and couldn’t shower - not something I have ever experienced in any other booking. When I asked about this I was told it’s because of sanitary reasons they can’t wash the towels in hot water - how is the bedding being washed?? We booked for 7 days and only initially got 2 rolls of toilet paper… after already buying more and complaining did we get two more. We were provided with one garbage bag for the 7 days, when I requested another one the answer was no. Check out for this suite is 8am-9am, at 8:55am we received a knock on the door and was rudely told we needed to get out, after me telling this man we were leaving and had all our bags packed in view! All in all this was not a pleasant stay at all.
