Great host, lovely location at a thoughtfully and very well appointed villa

Mario the owner is so hospitable and couldn't have done more to welcome us and make sure we had all that we needed. We didn't have children with us, but if we had they would have been in heaven with all the little touches to make them feel right at home including teddy bear themed additions and swings. The views of lake Como and mountains beyond from the apartment are breath-taking. There is a lovely Trattoria 5 minutes walk away that serves great local cuisine. 15 minutes walk down the 2000 year old roman cobbled street and you are at the lakeside with a few shops, some lovely restaurants and a sunset walk along the promenade. The villa is set amidst a historic mix of houses and villas that are accessed via narrow paths and winding hill roads . The private car parking facility was very convenient.

Perhaps renting a slightly smaller car would have made it easier to drive the roads. However Mario gave us excellent directions from Milan that helped us to navigate a wider road into the villa.

Lovely apartment with charming hosts and spectacular views of Lago Di Como

The apartment was extremely comfortable and well fitted out with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The terrace was the perfect place to sit with a coffee in the morning or Aperitivo in the enening to enjoy the beautiful panorama of the lake. We loved Mario and Vedrun who charmed us with their warm hearts and willingness to help us enjoy our stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

We loved the walk up and down the hill to the lake but some may find it really difficult.

Fantastic place to stay in Tremezzo

Mario and Verdon were excellent hosts. Responsive to all our needs and charming with it. The service provided was above and beyond, providing transport up and down the steep hills to the lake, ferrying us to the supermarket, providing recommendations and advice on what to see and how to get there. The apartment and its facilities were very clean, comfortable, spacious, and well provided for in terms of kitchenware, utensils, crockery, linen, etc. And last but not least, the views of the lake from the terrace were absolutely fantastic. If you want a good place to stay in Tremezzo, and value for money, I can't imagine that you would find anywhere better than here.

We had a wonderful stay!

The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed in it. The terrace was beautiful with a wonderful view - such a great place to have meals. And Mario was an excellent host. Very helpful and friendly.

Exceptional

We stayed at this villa for 3 days and had a wonderful time. The host was very hospitable. He had prepared a set of brochures for us in advance with ferry schedules and places to visit. He was ready to answer any of our questions, for which we are particularly grateful. The apartment was well-maintained and clean. The furniture was new. There is a very comfortable terrace with an excellent view of the lake, where you can spend a great time with family or friends. The house is situated on a hill, so it's better to have a car. There is a restaurant nearby within a 2-minute walk. Overall, we had a fantastic time. We will definitely come back.

There is no air conditioning in the house, however it was not a problem for us, because we were leaving in the morning and coming back in the evening. All the rest was perfect.

Despite the unpredictable weather our stay was very happy, relaxing and homely.

The location was perfect. Although the house is set up the mountain, we could drive down and use free car parks to get to all destinations. The views of the lake were stunning, in all types of weather. The tranquillity of the surrounding was enhanced by the scent of jasmine and roses in Mario's garden that could be enjoyed from the terrace. The apartment was very private, spacious, very clean and well equipped and staying in the Case felt like being at home. Mario, the host, was most welcoming, generous, informative and helpful. He responded immediately to any queries and helped us a lot not only round the house, but with various bookings ( Villa Carlota, a restaurant, some local specialities).

The only difficulty we had was with manoeuvring our big car around steep and narrow bends leading to the Casa.

Great place with very authentic Italia touch

Everything about this place is amazing. Its location, view, cleanliness, very nice and friendly owner The apartment is located in the village on the hill right next to Tremezzo. It has a beautiful view overseeing Como and the terrace with the same view. To get to Tremezzo, you can either drive or walk down the hill, taking a very beautiful path (it's not marked on google Maps for some reason). It takes aprox 20 min to walk and around 7 min by car. Parking in Tremezzo next to the lake is 1 eur/h. and from there you can catch a shuttle boat to other beautiful towns like Menagio, Bellagio, Varena, and others. The owner Mario told us about all popular places in the area, gave us restaurant recommendations, and did everything to make our stay enjoyable.

We were there only for two nights, and it's not enough to fully explore the area.

We did not have breakfast there we needed to get on a boat to Bellagio early am. The location is spectacular. Our host was absolutely amazing!!!

Très belle découverte dans un cadre dépaysant et tranquille.

L'accueil de Mario, la maison très typique et bien équipée. La terrasse tres agréable et ombragée avec une vue impressionnante sur le lac de Côme. Les conseils de Mario pour notre séjour de 3 jours qui nous ont été forts utiles.

Fantastisk ophold ved Comosøen.

Værten Mario var utrolig rar og serviceminded, han var klar til at hjælpe med det du havde brug for. Mario følger løbende op på om der er noget han kan hjælpe med og om du har nogle spørgsmål til noget. Han hjalp os bl. a med at finde ud af hvordan man kan besøge Villa Balbianello uden at have booket på forhånd. Huset ligger højt i byen med en flot udsigt over søen og tæt på restaurant Rana. Boligen ligger rimelig tæt på hvor færgerne sejler til bl. a Bellagio, Varenna osv.

Hemos estado encantados con la casa

Hemos estado encantados en Casa Intignano. Mario nos ha cuidado muy bien! Muy atento con todo! La casa muy bonita y limpia y las niñas han disfrutado mucho sobretodo con los comumpios. Las vistas eran muy xulas! Volveremos!
