Paldies, naktsmītne vienkāršā padomju laikā celtā ēkā, bet studijas tipa dzīvoklītis ļoti mūsdienīgs, lieliska lokācija. Saimnieki parūpējušies par nelielām brokastu iespējām.

Izcila lokācija, patīkams interjers dzīvoklītim, ērta gulta. Ļoti ceram tur palikt vēl kādu reizi, jo Alūksnē viesojamies bieži. Dzīvoklī ir viss nepieciešamais īsam uzturēšanās laikam, saimniece bija atstājusi gardus "komplimentus", kur izrādījās ļoti noderīgi. Ļoti novērtēju kafijas aparātu.

Ļoti novērtētu pie logiem aizkarus. Privātuma vārdā turējām aizvērtas žalūzijas.

The biggest and practically the only positive aspect of this apartment is its location. If you look hard for positives, you could say it’s relatively clean and contains the basic necessities for sleeping and cooking.

I booked the apartment, but by check-in time I hadn’t received any instructions from the owner. I messaged via booking.com but got no response, then sent an SMS with no reply either. Finally, after calling, I reached the owner and got the information about where we found a key. Generally, we’re used to owners sending the check-in details themselves (even for "last-minute" bookings) so we don’t have to chase them down. Upon arrival at the apartment, we found that although we had booked for four people (2 adults and 2 children) there were only 2 blankets and 2 sauna towels provided. Our kids were very surprised as to why they had to dry themselves with hand towels after the shower - they even asked if children in Latvia don’t use regular-sized sauna towels :D The furniture arrangement in the apartment was inconvenient - the bed was placed in the middle of the room, forcing you to walk all around it. The only trash bin was right next to the bed, and a kitchen cabinet opened in the “wrong” direction. There was no dish drying rack, the stovetop was terribly greasy, and after seeing the frying pan, we decided not to even try frying eggs for breakfast.
