About this apartment rental

Located in the former Golden Bay Silos on Raglan Wharf, these stylish apartments are perfect for a unique getaway.

Enjoying spectacular views of Raglan Harbour and surrounds, the GRAND apartment is literally a stone’s throw from the water. With fresh contemporary design and furnishings, this is the perfect location to enjoy a relaxed holiday. Ideally suited to one or two up to three couples or 4/5 singles guests.

You can swim, fish and kayak in the safe inner Harbour or relax in the courtyard with a good book and a glass of wine. Watch Raglan Harbour activity, launch your own boat from the doorstep, dine in the cafe/restaurant next door, visit Tony Sly pottery studio or numerous other artisan shops or take a pleasant 10 minute stroll along the waterfront to the rest of Raglan’s shops and cafes.

Equally stunning in winter! Admire the dramatic changing skies through enormous glass windows while staying warm and cosy.

After spending our wedding night at the Silo we returned 3 years later to spend our anniversary in Raglan. The Silo is such a wonderful place to stay, amenities are excellent and the views are awesome. With great options for indoor or outdoor dining it is such a pleasure to stay here. The friendly warm greeting from Denise gets your stay off to a grea start.

The Silo apartment was amazing and very spacious. The views were beautiful and it was nice to have a restaurant and a fish and chips place nearby. We spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed it.

This was our absolutely favorite place to stay out of a two week trip visiting six different areas of NZ. The building has a wonderful and unique history and is thoughtfully decorated with fun artwork. The views are absolutely stunning from the apartment and the location is perfect. The drive into downtown was less than five minutes. Totally walkable as well. For the times we didn’t feel like going even that far there were a couple of cool shops and restaurants right next door. Our host, Denise, was very gracious and helpful with questions and had a helpful guidebook to get us started. We stayed with another couple and had so much fun playing pool in the evenings. We all agreed that coming back to Raglan this is the only place we would want to stay 😊

The Silos are a very unique place to stay.The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated. We wish we had more time to visit the area. It was mostly a stop on a drive on the north island for us this visit. Raglan has a great surfer vibe and we would love to visit again in the summer!

I would recommend this beautiful apartment to everyone. Very clean, and well equipped with everything you need to self cater. If you don't want to cook, there are lots of good options close by. We tried Orca and the Wharf Restaurant to name a few and found the food glorious. Denise is wonderful to deal with and we appreciated her waiting for us to arrive to go through the arrival process. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

This has to be one of the most spectacular sites we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It was "Grand" in every regard. The scale and volume of the main lounge with 6m+ stud and full length Cathedral windows looking all the way down the harbour to the Raglan bar. The wooden floors, mezzanine bedroom, the art on the walls, the curved exterior wall, everything industrial concrete complete with protruding pipes and cut off bolts, veins of rusty colour. Beautifully appointed, comfy bed, warm, spectacular views from every window, private deck and courtyard. And a wonderful host who`s advice we took for a place to eat which also proved to be excellent. you should go - we will be again. A huge thank you to our hosts.

Great location, awesomely quirky interior. Pool table was a hit. Very warm inside, we didn’t need to turn on the heating. The Wharf restaurant across the road was lovely, the food and service was great. The Fish Shop at the end of the Wharf is worth a visit too. We enjoyed wandering around the town. Took a drive to Mana Bay to watch the surfers, played mini putt. The Shack, Orca and George’s we would recommend for eating out. No Sky and had problems accessing radio stations for music but all in all a very relaxing weekend.

Loved our time here - the owners have converted the space with vision and style. It was wonderful being able to throw the doors open and have the sea right there. We also loved having so much art around. Comfortable beds, walking distance to town. Make sure you check out the owners’ Soul Shoes business opposite - beautiful products! A great and unique apartment and the perfect base for enjoying all Raglan has to offer. Amazing views over the river, great facilities and well furnished. Only minor problem is the open studio format doesn’t allow much privacy for couples.
