This place is amazing! We chose the ocean view room, and it was incredible to be there. The room was super clean and spacious enough for us (a couple). The pool is lovely, and the view is stunning. 😍😍

Unfortunately, it’s too far from everything, and there aren’t many places to go. However, this can be great if you just want to relax and have some time for yourself. The restaurant here is incredible – you can see how much love they put into each meal, and the prices are reasonable for such a remote location.

The view, the service - the value for money. Was such a luxury experience. Took our breath away every time we walked in our room. Whatever you asked for was such easy communication and so accommodating

Breakfast was good. I liked the fact that the food was cooked to order rather than a buffet. No waste. Location was really nice with a beautiful view from its elevated position. We went walking around the area a few times, this was a very pleasant experience.

Remarkable hilltop location with spectacular views, sunsets & romantic private pool and villa

The location is spectacular and the staff are all really friendly and helpful. The private pool and villa is one of the best places I have ever stayed - there is a gorgeous semi-outdoor bathroom that is so big and picturesque. The little kitchenette is incredibly handy and often we didn't even want to leave the room because the view is so stunning and we would get meals sent to our room. We felt like we were alone in our little hilltop sanctuary. My partner did his scuba diving license down in Pemuteran and then we went diving at Menjangan island which is some of the best diving in the world - and what a place to get your licence! The water is warm and the coral and marine life is plentiful. Such wonderful people at the hotel and in town. We hired a scooter, had our laundry done, and everything we needed was provided for instantly by the hotel.

This is absolutely NOT the hotel's fault but I must admit that the noise from the Muslim mosque is very disruptive. The hotel did everything in their power to try to help us - providing us with ear plugs and apologising for the noise. I feel sorry for them there because the hotel is perfect but they are dealing with religious freedom and so much noise. This should not stop you from going there! The noise is all over Sumberkima and Pemuteran - not just at this hotel - it is everywhere. Just make sure to have some headphones or earplugs for the prayer times, or close the doors and have the air-conditioning on and watch a movie. It's not a big deal if you adapt to it.

Incredible sunsets

Highly recommend if you're looking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy spots. The staff were amazing, food was great, rooms were lovely, but the view is the main attraction. The view from our room was breathtaking, and even more so from the restaurant. We spent most of our trip in our private pool watching the volcano-dotted horizon change shades throughout the day and listening to the Hindu and Islamic calls to prayer in the distance. We did the Lovina dolphin tour, snorkelling at Menjangan Island and a massage, all of which I highly recommend.

It's not close to the airport by any stretch. With Bali traffic it took us about five hours each way (and about $100 AUD), so be prepared for that. It's also not walking distance to any shops, the beach, etc, so you need to rely on drivers or your own transport completely. There is a resort next door with two restaurants walking distance away, both of which are great.

Beautiful place with a stunning view. The Staff is really nice and friendly. The rooms are big, The view from the Private Pool is great. Also great view from the Restaurant in the Main building. Everything is clean and we really liked it here. Defenitely we will come back again :)

Homey, with great views

Our room was so spacious and clean. Loved the fully equipped kitchen. Our 4 year old loved the main pool by the restaurant. The service is one of the best I have had in Bali for a while.

The food at the restaurant was quite average. I had a couple of dishes that were disappointing. The staff were gracious and understanding.

Nice long weekend in friendly resort.

The food, in general, was amazing. There was a wide choice for breakfast and an excellent choice for lunch and dinner. It was a great taste. The room is spacious and well-maintained. The bathroom is open (some mosquitoes), but clean and spacious. Kitchen is well equipped and has minibar. Loved the setup with the big dining table and four chairs. The TV was broken, but honestly, who needs one with the amazing view? The staff was very welcoming and professional. Tip: go for the Ikan Bakar in the restaurant. Don't like fish? The Rendang was fingerlicking good.

The view from villa 4 is disturbed by the electricity cables. After 5 minutes, however, you're used to it.

An unforgettable staycation!

Wow! What a fantastic place! We stayed here for 3 days and could have easily stayed another 3 days. Everything you need is a message away… no joke with the ‘a message away’ as you are added to a WhatsApp group which enabled you to connect with whichever department you need. Our villa was spacious, clean and very picturesque! The view from the pool, lounge and bedroom never failed to stun us! A huge thank you to all the lovely people working there- your welcoming and approachable personalities made our stay ever more memorable.

The staff were exceptional. All of them. Friendly, helpful, fun to chat with. The hotel uses WhatsApp for communication, so you just ask for food, transport, whatever from your sun lounge. hahhaha fantastic. Plus they did the best dry martinis we have had!!!!

Exceptional experience!

Very quiet and the view is amazing. We were staying in the villa overlooking the mountains and forest. The staff is very helpful and very professional. We ordered food for lunch and dinner, the choices are pretty good. Kids loved the food and the private pool.

Not worth for money at all

The view of the sea view mountain villa was awesome and the infinity pool was the best in the sunset.

The stay has no option to book with breakfast, so we have to order on a daily basis from their restaurant with much higher price and lower quality and quantity of the offered options, the place is truly secluded, nothing around to do or any activity during the night or the day, the way to reach the resort is too cracked and narrow to drive in and out at night. They don’t offer any kind of internal activities, yoga sessions, morning meditation,..etc. Even the facilities are still not working (spa for example). You have to pay for every single thing, no complimentary snacks or even tea and coffee packets, given how the place is detached they make use of this, that you have to buy basics from them as there is no other option around. I also found many lizards in the room, the staff thankfully came and offered an immediate help but it was horrible to sleep with lizards mingling around. Last comment was on the shower caps in the toilet, they put used shower caps and they re put them again in the same pack.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sumberkima Resort in Bali, and I must say that it was an absolute dream come true. My girlfriend and I chose Villa Anggrek 2, and without a doubt, it was the best decision we could have made. The experience was nothing short of luxurious, relaxing, and truly spacious. The villa was impeccably cleaned, and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the private pool; it felt like something out of our most beautiful dreams. The staff at Sumberkima Resort deserves special recognition. They were not only incredibly pleasant to talk to but also went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their kindness, honesty, and humility were genuinely heartwarming. One highlight of our stay was dining at the resort's restaurant, where we enjoyed some of the most delicious food while gazing at the mesmerizing view of the Gili Islands by the seaside. Sumberkima Resort, despite its distance from Denpasar airport, is unquestionably worth the journey. The attention to detail in their room service was remarkable. Our villa was cleaned while we savored breakfast, and they ensured the shampoo bottles were refilled, towels replaced, and water bottles replenished – it's these small touches that set this place apart. Furthermore, the resort arranged a very affordable transport to our next accommodation, leaving us with a feeling of sadness as we departed because we knew it couldn't get any better than what we experienced at Sumberkima Resort. In conclusion, if you're looking for a romantic and relaxing getaway in Bali, Sumberkima Resort is the ultimate destination. It's a place where luxury meets serenity, where exceptional service is the norm, and where every detail is carefully tended to. This resort truly deserves all the accolades it receives, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Stunning villa with outstanding views of the jungle and sea. The staff goes above and beyond to meet all your needs and/or want and the food is delicious! A special thanks to the whole team for being so attentive and helpful and a special mention to the chef Putu Joni! Bali has changed a lot in the past 5-10 years and it’s nowadays very difficult to find authentic places like this - totally recommended!

Great views both to sea and mountain. Managers and staff helped us with all requests. It was my wife's birthday, and I requested some additional stuff arranged, they helped with that all. Nice pool, comfortable bed, hot water in shower. room had plates, ice pack, pans, toaster, cutlery. everything you would need. Couldn't be happier.

Breakfast was very nice, and the location view was also very pleasant. Food was plentiful and there was a good choice of dishes both cooked and fresh. Great choice of fruit juices, coffee and tea. The staff had a whats app and if you needed anything you just text from your phone and the person who could help would respond. for example, room service, cleaning, reception. The rooms garden and pool were stunning large and clean.

The evening meals were also good value and plentiful but when they ran out of items they were not quick with re supply. Probably because of the distance and remoteness of the property. The climb to the resort was also not what i was expecting as the road that led there was not very wide and there was a lot of traffic trying to pass other vehicles. Bikes were also parked which meant we would have to wait for our driver to move them over it was still very tight. The resort was still being finished so the gym and the spa was not yet open. While we were there, we suggested that they have a shop on the premises as it was a trip to the bottom of the hill to get supplies. Also, the room did not come with some items we feel were a necessity. Like bottle opener (a must) and a dustpan and brush for the odd clean up here and there. Aso our private pool / garden was overlooked by reception and people who were checking in etc. However, the resort did put up some bamboo in the middle of our stay. the sliding wood doors also did not lock and once opened we could be viewed from above.

Perfect for relaxed gateway

Brand new hotel with beautiful architecture, excellent room and a magnificent view from the private pool in the villas (the ones with a round Infiniti pool). Staff very attentive and helpful. Great place for a couple to just spend some alone time reading at the private pool.

Parts of hotel was still under construction (such as additional villas and gardens) - can’t wait to see the finish the result!

Stunning pool villa would definitely return even though there’s a few things they could do with sorting

Stunning property in the hillside, with stunning views. Our pool villa had amazing view & a lovely large sized pool, bathroom was gorgeous too. Good value for money compared to other countries for a private pool villa. Staff are absolutely lovely and do as much as they can for you. Lovely smiling faces everyday from them. Would definitely return even though I note some things I wasn’t overly happy about but the view & the pool alone are worth returning for and I didn’t actually complain so my fault really!

The food was lukewarm/cold a few times this includes both food in the restaurant and room service food. We didn’t complain but should have really. Decor in the other rooms (besides the bathroom as this was lovely) needs a bit more as it’s very plain, it was quite basic to look at. Maybe some more of the nice wooden hanging pieces? Had men workers from the hotel chilling out on our roof one day when it’s meant to be a private villa, was a bit off putting seeing them up there when I was in the pool. Decking area could do with a small outdoor table & chairs so you can enjoy your food outside. There are little tables that pull out from the Sun lounger but this is not big enough or comfortable to eat from. A cow and her calf are in a pen at the end of the pool villa 1 (when you look down from the pool) mean occasionally you can smell them which again was not expecting and wasn’t very nice.

Absolutely stunning place

I loved the design and the beautiful nature all around. View from my villa was breathtaking. All staff were very kind and responsive. The villa was spotless clean, well equipped and super comfortable Stunning 360 degree views from the restaurant and pool.

Road to the property was a bit broken but still ok for my motorbike.
