Great location, close to centro historico and the beach. The apartment is nice and the system with code lockers worked well and was good for us since we arrived pretty late in the evening. Everything was clean and in order in the apartment. On the other side of the street is a large Maskom Supermercado, very handy.
There was a not so nice smell/odor in the bathroom, coming from the pipes we assume since you can also smell it in the staircase. We bought some air purifier spray that took care of it, but there is something in the building pipes that doesn't work well.

Really good location for attractions and amenities
Patio furniture was not as advertised (no white loungers) and the roof terrace allocated to our apartment (3b) seemed to be being used as storage so limited our enjoyment of the space. The roof terrace was one of the reasons we picked the apartment so a bit disappointing

The location was brilliant, close to everything and had a supermarket directly across the road!
I contacted the property in advance to ask about the possibility of an earlier check-in (at an extra charge if necessary), as I am 30 weeks pregnant and travelling with a toddler, and we arrived in Málaga very early. I was advised to message again on the day to double-check. When I did, the response was quite blunt, simply stating that the apartment was not yet cleaned. As a result, we were unable to check in until exactly 3pm, which meant spending several hours sitting on park benches trying to entertain a small child.
Upon arrival, we also had difficulty accessing the property, as someone had locked the front door from the inside using a key.
Once inside the apartment, it was immediately apparent that several things were in need of updating and proper cleaning. The sofa, in particular, looked very worn and unclean, with a blanket placed over it rather than it being properly maintained. All upholstery, including the decorative cushions, would benefit from a professional clean.
The cleanliness overall was disappointing. In the shower there were thick black curly hairs on the walls and basin, indicating that cleaning had not been done thoroughly. There was also visible black mould around the kitchen sink area and in the shower.
The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the pillow was very hard, making it difficult to sleep well. There were also no duvet or pillows provided for the sofa bed, although thankfully no one needed to use it — particularly as the street noise at night is quite loud due to the nearby refuse centre.
Small, low-cost touches would greatly improve the experience, such as providing basic tea and coffee sachets, making some effort to accommodate early check-in requests where possible, and ensuring the property is properly cleaned before arrival. The TV also appears outdated and could do with an upgrade.
