A fantastic alternative to a hotel

My husband and I loved this place. We stayed in the Lupin Pod. It was in a very peaceful location without being overlooked, unless the wildlife counts. The farm/village it is set in is stunning. It's such a beautiful place with friendly locals. I loved the no fuss check-in and out procedure. The main routes are a couple of minutes' drive by car, and the location is very central to so many places. The pod had everything you could possibly need (excluding food and drink). I liked the supplied eco products for cleaning. The information folders were very helpful, too. There are boot and coat pegs outside the door for wet items. There was parking next to the pod. I would love to stay here again.

I honestly can't fault anything about the place. The only thing missing was somewhere to hang clothes, as the walls are angled it's probably not possible, plus valuable space would be lost. We just kept our clothes in cases under the bed.

Excellent birthday few days

The pods are beautiful and cosy...there is plenty to look at there as it is picturesque...and plenty of wildlife and farm animals to see. The town is also very friendly and a must see.i would definalty recommend this pod to anyone.

The glamping pod was incredible.We loved the fully equipped pod, with fridge, microwave and most amenities. It’s set in beautiful countryside and is extremely private. We will defiantly be coming back.

It would have been great as an add on if you could have paid for a small welcome hamper with some tea, coffee milk etc. As we arrived late there wasn’t a local shop to buy these.

Wonderful

Really cosy and comfortable, kitchen pack was really great with the things it had in it, meant we could cook.

Shower drain needs declogging but wasn’t that big a deal.

Absolutely beautiful place! The surrounding scenery is fantastic and the country roads for cycling are fantastic, not much traffic if you stay on the B roads which was perfect. The glamping pot itself was in a great location and peaceful but stuff around to see and not a long drive from shops. The pod was clean, well equipped with a single electric hob, bbq/ chimnea outside, microwave oven, pots and pans, washing up liquid, hand soap, tea towel, cloth and loo roll . Bedding and towels was included too. This place was a real good find and we will definitely be staying again for another cycling holiday.

Great location, poor service

We rented two pods for two families with kids. One of the pod’s were so dirty, the toilet was full of sh….t and the smell did not let us to sleep. There was nothing in the kitchen to wash the dishes with it and the Wi-Fi was working for half of the day

Fantastic little place to stay.

The pod was perfect for what we were looking for. Somewhere cheap but classy to stay whilst attending Cheltenham Festival. The Pod was nice and comfortable and would be a great place to go for a romantic retreat with a partner. You are in the middle of nowhere so if you do book for the same reason to attend the festival, you really have to be careful to organise transport well in advance as you will get caught out otherwise. Great place, beautiful countryside, would fully recommend.

Make it glaringly obvious to oblivious guests like myself that are used to hotel stays, that towels, bedding etc is required to be brought with :)

If you are someone who can't stay offline then you should know that the mobile connection in the area is really bad and the WiFi didn't work in our pod at all. For us it was not a big deal :-)

PEACEFUL STAY

Such an amazing cosy small pod. Accurate description and pictures. It was so peaceful and a relaxing 1night stay. we let our self in keys were hung just outside the pod. We felt safe and enjoyed our BBQ just before it started to rain!

Cant think of anything that was bad to be honest! But only thing i could say was the heaters were not very powerful it was abit cold although it was set on 30 highest.
