Luxury Oceanfront Home – Huge Infinity Pool

Large villa with plenty of rooms and beds to sleep guests. Beds and rooms are comfortable with nice AC. Pool was great and a nice amenity to have. Great views as well and can hear the ocean from the home as well. Walkable distance to beaches and to the Rinconada area which has some markets and nice places to eat. Staff was very kind and helpful, prepared a very nice dinner of us one night. Property manager was helpful in putting us in contact with fishing charters etc.

We had a group of 14 plenty of room. Every was great had no issues. The maids are amazing and so helpful. They even made fresh guacamole and salsa and chips a couple of times!! We could get the clothes washed as needed by them. The location was great about 2 3 blocks to main road to get taxi or the maids would also call for us. Able to easily walk to 3 different beaches. We did rent ATV to run to store or small trips to town. House was clean and comfortable. We are already planning our next trip back to the house. Pool was amazing. Walk to the rock cliff in front of house has a beautiful view of the sunset don’t miss it!

Our goal was to relax, have a spacious place to stay with amenities you would get at a hotel and this property checked all the boxes. Great location, hardworking staff, clean and modern home with everything you need, spacious pool and beautiful grounds.

A beautiful home with the most amazing view morning, noon and night. Enjoy watching the whales in the comfort of the infinity pool. Communication was spot on. I highly recommend this home to be enjoyed with family and friends.

We had a wonderful time. The house was great with plenty of space, excellent beds (which is not always the case in Mexico), well stocked kitchen, beautiful pool and hosts that were concerned that we had a great stay. They were very responsive and answered any questions or concerns quickly and kindly.

The house is absolutely beautiful and spacious. The pool are is gorgeous, with spectacular views of the sunrise and sunset. Great location close to restaurants and shops, (try El Cafecito Restaurant for breakfast). Everything was clean and well kept, and the staff was helpful and kind. My only minor negative was the fan in master bedroom was loud, but truly it was a minor thing. Cannot wait to come back!

Such a beautiful property with the most attentive manager and staff imaginable. From beginning to end, this rental experience was perfection. About the house: The best part about the house is the amazing pool and southerly views of the sea which allows you to see both sunset and sunrise. Spectacular! The rooms are all generously sized, each with their own bathroom with huge showers. Everything was meticulously clean. On the kitchen and meals, Miguel and I spoke several times before arrival to work out what foods we wanted them to stock the house with and what meals we wanted them to cook. We wanted to do some cooking ourselves and Miguel took us to the local food market in his big truck (the market is a wonderful experience with amazing produce and meat stalls, definitely worth a trip)! The kitchen is very well stocked, and Miguel even brought us a huge stock pot upon request. There are blenders galore to make margaritas (but sure to request a couple of bags of ice). Miguel was very fair in what we were charged for all the extras. The staff (between two and three ladies) cooked two dinners and two breakfasts, all of which were beautifully presented and worked out ahead of time. I definitely recommend the enchiladas and the huevos rancheros. Lastly, thoughPE felt very safe everywhere, the house is very secure with poles to lock sliding doors, a locked shaded parking area and an in room safe. Wonderful memories!

We absolutely loved our stay at this dreamy property. We were a large group of 12 friends and there was ample space for all. So incredible to have this gorgeous pool and incredible view to ourselves - a peaceful retreat in the vibrant local community. The property was even better than pictured/expected. We felt like royalty. Thank you to Miguel, Gema and all who made our stay so wonderful. Can’t wait to come back!

16 of us traveled for our dad’s 80th birthday! But only 11 of us stayed at this villa. This place was so beautiful and accommodating. It was big enough for everyone to have their own private solace as well as having fun in the sun in the pool. We all walked to the cliff which was amazing! We had a 9 people mariachi come to play at the party which was so incredible. My dad was ever so happy to have his family here. Jemma and Iselda were the two wonderful ladies who take care of all of our needs! And we could not have had better service! They were so friendly and very helpful! Miguel was awesome too! We will be back next year! Thank you all for such a wonderful experience! See you next year!

We were a group of 18 people and we thoroughly enjoyed the house. The spaces are perfectly distributed and the location of the house is perfect too. We had problems with the electricity and water for about 12 hours, but the manager was always interested and attentive to resolve the situation. We would definitely return to the same place, thank you very much.

We had 14 adults and 4 kids stay. There was plenty of space for everyone. Working with Edith and Miguel made things easy and convenient. The pool and outdoor area were amazing!

This house was in a beautiful location & has a nice pool (when clean), but it was not a "luxury" home. Mostly, it was not well maintained or clean. There were cockroaches, ants, and even crabs in the kitchen and running across our food. We arrived to several rooms that still had dirty towels and linens in them from the last guest. Mold in some of the rooms made guests sick. White towels put out were stained. Major holes in windows/screens likely let in all of the pests. Laundry wasn't available for our use. Instead, the machines and space were used for the owner's employees to wash items for other properties/people. We couldn't wash clothes when we wanted to and had to give them to the staff to wash resulting in our clothes being locked in the staff area just before our flight. Upstairs deck was covered in towels from other places drying on clothes lines. The kitchen was not well appointed.Most burners on the stove wouldn't light. Staff used fridge for their own food and let themselves into the house as they wished. There was no grill as advertised. Sweet bread offered by staff was stale and then quickly covered in ants. The manager didn't respond to texts or VRBO emails promptly (i.e. it took days and sometimes I never got a response at all). Pricing was unclear and changed over the course of the booking. The grounds had debris all over. Pool toys broken. When we arrived we had to clean out all of the dead crabs from the pool. Wiifii very spotty.

If you are travelling with a large group, this place is ideal. 5 main bedrooms each with private bathroom allows for total independence while providing for social gatherings in the common area and pool. Ideally located a short walk from the Rinconada where restaurants are plentiful but tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. And, you just can’t beat the ocean view.

Casa Junto al Mar was everything we hoped for and so much more. The house itself is absolutely stunning, and Miguel, Gemma, and the staff made the stay over the top amazing. They are so helpful and available to support with anything- from helping us set up dinners cooked by Gemma and the girls, to giving recommendations for excursions, or picking up drinks for our first night. Everything was beautiful and we are already looking forward to booking again in the future!

I must’ve researched dozens of places and we landed on this one time after time. It was perfect for us. We had six in our group, one couple 4 friends. Just book it already. - Miguel made it easy from the get go. We communicated via What’s App. He gave us tons of recommendations and advice along the way. He picked us up food for an additional and extremely reasonable fee and had the house stocked upon our arrival including a birthday cake (it was our friend’s 40th). Definitely do this. Sure you can make food runs but it’s just so nice to walk in from traveling and be able to start enjoying this home upon arrival. - The women who care for the home are lovely. We had no idea they would be cleaning everyday. We’d wake up and the house was immaculate, coffee was made, pool was pristine. They even pointed out a hamper in my room (big basket) and washed my clothes. That’s a vacation! They called us a cab when we needed one (more on cabs below). They were just amazing. - Now to the house itself. The outside is where you want to be all day and night. There wasn’t much to the actual “living room” space but we didn’t need it. We stayed by the pool, lounged on the king size cabana in the backyard, hung out on the overlook, drank coffee on the patio downstairs and upstairs (which is enormous), and walked down to the water which was stunning. Point is there are plenty of places to gather and relax all over the property if floating in the most beautiful pool in puerto wasn’t enough. We ate out but kitchen was fully stocked incl. 2 fridges. - Loved that all rooms had their own AC and en suite bathroom. All were clean, cold and well appointed. - Cabs were hard to come by at the house. Just a slight inconvenience. Best bet was to have one of the ladies tending to the house call for us or to walk up to Rinconada strip which, even though it’s about a mile or less away, not everybody wanted to do that every time in the heat. So plan accordingly. I wish we got scooters. - Despite the cabs the house is in a great location. Beautiful homes, nice neighborhood, lots of restaurants (Omara - the best) and great beach nearby (Angelito) and short drive to rest of puerto. - Only negative is make sure you know how many are coming in advance. The price listed isn’t accurate. Check the price based on the number in your party. It’s also based on double occupancy. So maybe even confirm total with owners prior so you’re not surprised. Regardless still worth every penny.

Very responsive and was nice stay. Only complaint was the AC controller was missing day 1 but was fixed day 2.

This is one of my 5-star virbo locations. The residence gives you accommodations for induvial space or community spacing as mentioned space enough for 2 -20. The view is great, and the location give you access to all the beaches via local transportation. There are areas for the young and older generations, to include dining , recreational activities and night life. I hope this location will be available for our return visit.

This is probably the best location in puerto. The pool with the ocean view is perfect. The house is not only comfortable, but it is pristine because the staff maintains the property daily. 10/10 from me and my friends

We had an excellent stay at Casa Junto Al Mar. Miguel was so helpful and always available when we needed him. He took one of the persons in our party to a doctor, brought me some Gatorade one day, picked us up at airport and arranged to have a separate person come to the house for our covid test. He was over-the -top helpful to us. It was wonderful to have the daily service from Gema and the girls each day who did our dishes, laundry, cleaned, and changed our sheets daily. They were an absolute delight and we felt so pampered. We had Gema cook for us a couple nights and food was great. Her enchiladas suizas were wonderful, as were her chili rellanos.

We had an amazing stay at Miguel's home. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool overlooking the cliffs was awesome. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and the beds are comfortable. The best part was the service from the staff. We had Gemma and her team fix us breakfast and lunch every day. It was amazing. Can't wait to return!

Everything about this house is incredible. We were a group of 8, and we all want to go ASAP. The views on the property are unmatchable. Miguel, our host, took care of all our needs. I asked him if he had a background in hospitality, because wow , the way he runs this place makes you feel like you’re staying in a five star resort. Gemma and the other house staff are so kind. Be sure to try Gemma’s enchiladas suizas! If you’re even slightly considering booking this place, just do it! You will be so happy you did!

Beautiful home! Very clean. Enough room for all 14 of us. Big pool. Some cons would be that there isn’t much privacy since the cleaning lady’s are there from 8-4 and walk around the house. We liked having a clean home but wished we had more privacy. We also had a little visitor in the living area, a scorpion that we had to kill because of the children. In the middle of our stay someone went into the house (the first outside bedroom) and stole my dads cell phone while he was in the shower. There are many ways someone can get into or jump into the home. Also, the sliding doors nor some windows have actual locks and a stick is used to keep them closed. The police was called but nothing was done. The owners son came to keep guard that night and even though we asked him to stay outside the property he was roaming inside (where everyone was sleeping) the house at 6 am. After that night first thing in the morning we packed up and left the home because we did not feel safe. We spoke to the owner and asked for some type of credit since we were going to have to go rent a few rooms and we still had some nights left there with him but he said I would have to contact VRBO.

Where to begin there's so much to say about this lovely property, the staff, the owner, Miguel's hospitality. There were 5 of us (4 adults and 1 child) we all stayed in the main house. The rooms were big, beds were comfortable, spacious bathrooms and closet. AC works great. Both rooms had a door out to a patio area that led to the pool with a hammock and swinging chair. The infinity pool is big compared to neighboring properties and has a gorgeous view of the horizon. There is a deck with a perfect view of the most beautiful sunsets. Our adult son and daughter-in-law watched the sunset from the upstairs and said it was spectacular. It was so easy to relax and decompress here. You could easily fit more people and not feel crowded. What was unique for us is that there is staff there daily to clean, make the beds, etc. They were wonderful and only help with making your stay easier. Miguel was very accommodating and quick to respond to questions. The care and thought that goes into the property and the guests really shows. We also hired someone to cook for us for part of our stay, we had decided on breakfast and lunch and would venture out for dinner. We changed to lunch only after a couple days because we realized the portions and meals were big and more than we usually eat, but all was delicious. You are a short walk to the "main street" where there are restaurants. cafes, shop, mini-mart and the entrance to Carizalillo beach. It's a quick and inexpensive taxi ride to the super market and surrounding areas (Zicatela, La Punta, etc..) 10/10 recommend!

I couldn't have been happier with the house and our stay at Casa Junto al Mar. All of the bedrooms have air conditioning and bathrooms with nice showers. Good water flow. The place is very well designed for groups, large or even small. We arranged to have a chef come in for breakfasts and they were able to accommodate the tastes of everyone. The pool is a great design. It is so nice to be able to swim whenever you want to and have it all to yourself. The housekeeping staff are friendly and can there for you or not, your choice. The house is very well maintained and shows the pride the owner has in the place. Very little traffic in this neighborhood, but it is very close to shopping and dining options. I strongly recommend this villa without hesitation.

The rooms are great, allowing space for everyone to have their own me time and very clean.

The listing of this property does not do it justice. Our group of 10 had an amazing time. This property is an easy walk to the best swimming beach in town and numerous restaurants. The views and infinity pool were the stars of the show. One thing that was not entirely clear (but fantastic) was that there was someone at the home daily to clean, do laundry, groundskeeper, etc. We coordinated with the Host to have a cook (Domi) to prepare meals for our large group - Domi and her team were amazing, reasonably priced, and prepared us a lot of authentic Mexican cuisine. The Host and his son, Alex were always a quick call or text away to help coordinate anything we may have needed. They were even kind enough to schedule in-home COVID testing for our group with a local laboratory. Casa Junto Al Mar has all the privacy of a home, with all the comforts of a resort. We will certainly be back!

Casa Junto Al Mar is fantastic. We had such a wonderful stay there. The view, location and pool are amazing. The house is really spacious and clean. Alex, was quick to respond and always went out of his way to accommodate our requests. We have a 7 month old baby and had no issues with the space. Highly recommend Casa Junta al Mar. We can't wait to come back!
