Beautiful converted barn in an idyllic setting

Location really picturesque and ideally placed for dog walking and visiting Hebden Bridge. Accommodation was all very lovely & comfortable & the owners very friendly and welcoming- even leaving a few treats which was a nice surprise. Also the decorations made it special for our Christmas getaway.

A Stunning Property

this is an absolutely outstanding property. You will not find better , every detail is thought out with care and the furnishings and equipment are of excellent quality. Located in the beautiful village of Heptonstall which is handy for Haworth and the Brontes Halifax, Huddersfield and some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. An excellent bus service stops at the door to allow you to leave the car behind . I highly recommend this lovely property . Owners Mark and Penelope will ensure your stay is excellent .

Perfect location. Loved all the little extra touches in the accommodation to make it an easy and stress-free stay. Mark and Penny were excellent hosts and always on hand for advice on local walks and assistance with the WIFI

wish it was my home - so easy !

The Barn was an amazing place to stay in. Every room was warm and toastie from the under floor heating. The deco ,furniture,facilities lay out was all incredibly relaxing. Kitchen and bathroom well equipped. The property was very clean.Lovely secluded and secure garden, leading out to lots of amazing paths, tracks leading to footpaths. Within the small beautiful village -2 pubs with good food, grocery shop, cafe all within 2 minutes walk and a short walk or bus ride down to the busy town. Great place to stay. Thank you.

Comfortable, interesting and relaxing

The Barn at Star Farm is a lovely place to stay. The hosts are friendly, approachable but not at all intrusive. The barn is characterfully furnished and extremely comfortable and well equipped. Heptonstall is a beautiful village, steeped in history and provides easy access to the Dales, with plenty of walks from the doorstep, which Hebden Bridge, just 5 minutes drive down the hill (walkable too, and with great bus service) is full of lovely places to eat and shop. Highly recommend this location, and hope to return at other times of the year.

A quiet and very relaxing place to stay.

Excellent spot for a short break. The owner brought round fresh eggs for breakfast - a really thoughtful touch. The barn is well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable.

Immerse yourselves in the history and environment of Heptonstall and Hebden Bridge.

Delightful property with underfloor heating, secure patio and off street parking in the centre of Heptonstall. Owners live on the site and are available for any extra information. We had our dogs with us and there is direct access to lock,paths and fields.

Lovely and would do it again

Beautiful place in a beautiful location, barn really comfortable and warm, couldn’t ask for more. Hadn’t realised it was quite so much at the top of a hill but the buses to Hebden and back are regular and cheap (a return can be used all day). The village was incredible. Cafe excellent.

Starbarn is a beautiful renovated barn in a beautiful village called Heponstall which is one of the most picturesque places we have ever stayed. It has lots of stunning views, good local walks and a (steep) 20 min walk to Hebden Bridge. Mark and Penny were incredibly kind and welcoming, with a bottle of Prosecco and cakes on our arrival and a lift to the station when we left. It is a great place for a short break away from it all. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous barn. Very convenient. Friendly hosts.

The barn is beautifully furnished to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable. Great bathroom, powerful shower with plenty of hot water.

Nothing. Would be useful to have something to put wet clothes on ( out in the rain) but other than that, it was all wonderful.

Beautiful, comfortable and quiet. We would happily stay again!

Location was superb. Very quiet spot just off the main street. Quite tight to manouvre our estate car down the narrow lane but managable. There are no expansive views but the outside space has been made very pleasant and good walks are literally from the doorstep.

The accommodation was clean other than some pretty well established cobwebs, especially around the inside of the front windows. Nothing to spoil our enjoyment tho'.
