About this house rental
Villa Mimosa is a comfortable house, bright and recently (2014).
You enter a large living room very bright thanks to large windows, bringing together both the living room, the dining room and open kitchen with a beautiful view of the garden and the village. Well equipped kitchen with all necessary crockery for 10 persons.
Corner sofa with TV and DVD player. Dining table for 10 people. Windows giving access to the partially covered terrace.
Laundry room with washing machine and a second refrigerator. Access to the garage by the laundry.
From the hall access to the two bedrooms on the ground floor (one with ensuite shower room: shower, sink and access to the terrace) separate toilet and bathroom with tub.
From the living room by stairs, access to 3 other bedrooms, one with its own bathroom (shower and sink). Bathroom with large shower and sink. Separate toilet. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes. So in total, 4 bathrooms for 5 rooms in this rental.
From the terraces, beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards of Roquebrun and river Orb located in low-cons. Access to the pool is from the main terrace, with stairs, so it is against there and surrounded by a tiled terrace. Facilities, sun loungers and a barbecue.
Enough space to park 3-4 cars inside the property. a garage for one car. Free telephone calls to landlines in Europe. Wifi and free internet.

Had a lovely time in Roquebrun. Andre is a great host, very friendly, easily contactable, quick to respond, fantastic local knowledge and excellent English (thanks).
The pool was cleaned often and there is lots of space. Roquebrun is lovely and the villa location is great - under 10 minutes walk to the restaurants a small supermarket and a bakery. Kayaking, wine tasting and river/beach nearby
Very well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery, glasses, pans and 2 large fridges.
We were there during a heatwave and as described, there is only AirCon in the living room. The very high temperatures made the upstairs bedrooms unbearable even though Andre did source some fans for us. Nothing to be done about it really, just a fact of life.
The outside area by the pool has limited shade provided by trees and although the terrace has shade all day, the seating is not that comfortable to spend long periods there. We managed to find enough shade but there were only 5 of us.
Remember that there is 100 euro charge for bedding. We thought we could deal with that on arrival but we should have let Andre know in advance. Andre, did manage to sort out the bedding with 2 days notice though. 100 euro does seem a bit expensive for the bedding and towels. You could probably buy a set for that.
I would think about the time of year and I would have found it crowded for 8 people. Overall we had a lovely time in a great location and a good villa with an excellent host. Thanks Andre.

Very comfortable. Very clean. Andre the host was great with communication and he popped to see if we were ok and settled. 10 mins stroll into the beautiful village of Roquebrun. All in all a great holiday. My only niggle was that the oven does not get up to temperature to cook anything! Sorry Andre, but it does need sorting.

Das Haus ist sehr schön und der Vermieter auch sehr nett. Leider wird es nicht besonders gut gepflegt. Diverse Lampen in Küche und Bad waren defekt, der Garten hat schon lange keinen Gärtner gesehen, die Sofas haben kein Leder mehr und sind mit einer nicht mehr so schönen Decke überworfen. Sofakissen waren fleckig und abgewetzte Plastiktischdecken auf den Tischen. Liegenauflagen sahen auch recht schmuddelig aus und an der Decke über dem Esstisch sammelten sich bei Licht immer viele kleine Fliegen, woher auch immer die kamen. Waren deshalb doch am Ende etwas enttäuscht.
