Le confort moderne allié au rustique de la campagne

Le gîte de Pierre, il n'y avait pas beaucoup de photos, aucune appréciation, et malgré la description alléchante nous fûmes préparés à ce qu'il y ait des déceptions... Nous étant un groupe de 14 personnes de 25 à 45 ans. Certains ayant besoin de plus de confort que d'autres. Hé bien je vous ôte tout de suite le suspens : nous avons été bluffés, impressionnés, ravis. D'une, le propriétaire est très accomodant et disponible. Une question ? Quelque chose qui manque ? Il vous trouve la solution en deux temps trois mouvements ! Vu que la table était un peu serrée pour 3 autres convives que nous accueillions le soir du réveillon, il nous a prêté une table. Le BBQ était trop petit, il nous en a fourni un grand ! Il manque des coussins pour deux personnes qui se sont invités en surnuméraire ? Les voilà ! Les plus grandes surprises sont sur le charme fou de la maison. Une rénovation de soin lui offre tout le confort moderne, notamment une excellente isolation, des doubles-vitrages partout, un chauffage très puissant qui peut chauffer jusqu'à 25°C et plus (nous n'avons jamais osé les mettre au maximum), une cuisine toute neuve entièrement équipée, des salles de bains certes deux seulement au RDC mais très fonctionnelles avec un débit d'eau chaude continu, sans ballon. La décoration et la rusticité des poutres apparentes nous a prodigué les plus belles soirées entre amis dont nous pouvions rêver. Si le salon-salle à manger ouvert sur la cuisine n'est pas immense (dans les 50m²), il permet de faire assoir tout le monde et créé cette intimité incroyable que tant d'autres endroits impersonnels ne pourvoient pas. La Maison est à flanc de colline à 200m de la Loire. Aucun problème de voisinage n'est à noter, le hameau compte 7 habitants et toutes les maisons sont à bonne distance. La plus proche est celle du propriétaire, au dessus. Dans les cas peu fréquents où il s'y rend, nous avons eu sa totale discrétion et nous sommes sentis libres comme chez nous. Et la campagne environnante ? Nous ne connaissions pas encore bien cette Haute-Loire entre St-Etienne et le Puy-en-Velay. Que dire sinon que la Loire et ses ruisseaux, les collines, balades autour de ces anciens volcans d'Auvergne, villages médiévaux et châteaux avoisinants nous ont conquis par leur beauté. Cette maison est l'alliance parfaite entre modernité, confort et charme rustique. Si comme nous vous aimez la campagne et l'authenticité, vous ne serez pas déçus !
