About this house rental
The wind protected cove of Potamia is situated ten minutes from the picturesque port of Loutra in Northern Kythnos, 9kms from the main village of Kythnos and 16 kms from the main port of the island.
The house, comfortable and sober in style, embedded in the rocks, with a view to the bay and the surrounding hills offers the opportunity for tranquil, quality holiday by the sea.
Ground level: two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room with an open plan kitchen, all with a view to the sea and the rocks.
Lower level: two bedrooms, a bathroom and a playroom. There is an internal staircase with toddler-security gate and the possibility of adding baby cots.
There is a shady private parking on the grounds for 2 cars.
A second adjacent four-bedroom house and /or a smaller two-bedroom house (seen on the photos) could be rented - depending on availability.
Need of a private car to access the house since there is no public transport. The closest bus station is in Loutra seaside village, around 6 km from Potamia. Taxi service is available as well as moto and car rental.
Access to Kythnos:
From Piraeus port 3 hours, from Lavrion port 1 hour and 45min. Lavrion port is a 20min. drive from Athens main airport.

This is an incredible property to rent. Next to the beach with magnificent views of the Aegean Sea. One of the best full moons we have ever seen. Car is essential for general transportation to other places on the island. Maria the host was also great and very helpful with everything. Highly recommend the house for both couple or family/friends holidays.

Our stay in Potamia was wonderful.
The house is spacious, easily accommodating 8 people. It has all the equipment one might possibly need: BBQ, swimming toys for children, kitchen utensil, etc. The aesthetics of the house and its interior design are beautiful, matching the serenity of the place.
The location itself is stunning: wonderful views, quiet beach with crystal clear waters, and a beautiful scenery.
The next village, Loutra, is ca. 6 km away. There you can find everything you need from a little, but very well stocked supermarket to a butcher and fresh fish from the fishermen at the harbor. We had a car (which is needed for this house) and made some trips around the island which is beautiful and interesting.
The communication with the owners was easy and quick. We received all needed information in time, and were warmly welcomed at our arrival.
Thank you for the wonderful stay! We highly recommend this place and hope to be back soon.
