‘Tŷ Haf’ in the picturesque city of St Davids, has undergone extensive refurbishment. 'Tŷ Haf' offers modern self-catering accommodation for up to 5 guests and was available for the first time in 2016 as a holiday home.

'Tŷ Haf' is your perfect home from home, close to the heart of St Davids. It takes a few minutes to walk to its shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs as well as the historic Cathedral and Bishops Palace.

It will provide you with the perfect base to explore the St Davids Peninsula, as well as the Pembrokeshire coastal path, the many beaches and all St Davids has to offer.

We do offer short breaks for 3 or 4 days during off peak periods, please see the availability page or website at Ty Haf St Davids for relevant dates.

A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are welcome to stay at Ty Haf. There is an additional fee of £20 per dog.

We had a fantastic stay at this brilliant property. it was immaculate and had everything we needed, including nice touches such as wine and sweets for the kids on arrival. the property is located a 5 minute walk from the city centre and cathedral. The nearest supermarket is 200 yards away, the nearest beaches are 25 minute walk (caerfai bay) or a 15 minute drive (Newgale). Both are fantastic. We would recommend this place to anyone and would happliy return!.

Peter was really helpful from the very beginning. The property is well laid out, well equipped and spotlessly clean (Thanks Iris! )The location couldn’t be better for just a wander into the town or to explore the surrounding area. Ty Haf is a beautifully presented property, it was spotless and had everything you need for your stay. It's spacious and bright and the garden was perfect and secure for our little pooch! The location is great, with a shop so close (that stocks so much!), a short walk into St Davids to explore and good coastal walks. Thank you for such a great base for our holiday, we thoroughly recommend.

We were really impressed with a lot of things: the spaciousness, cleanliness, how everything you need is there (e.g. kitchen utensils) , the car in front of the house, the supermarket almost next door and the very short walk to the towncentre. The beds were good too! And St Davids is really nice. Last but not least the hiking there is fantastic.

Well kitted out with 3 wall mounted smart TVs. Everything required in the kitchen department (we did bring our own steamer for veg). Well located within 50metres of a well stocked Supermarket Parking easy even for a large SUV (Mind the Lamp Post) Peaceful considering this is a City opposite a pub Would recommend and may return (if Pete would have us) Negatives.... Bed was a bit on the hard side, The recycling regime is a bit finite..

Fabulous, spotless clean accommodation with everything you could possibly need. All fixtures, fittings and soft furnishing to high specification just couldnt fault anything. We have returned completly relaxed, we feel like we've spent a week in a 5 star spa. St Davids and surrounding areas id outstanding beautifull, we will be back for sure.

Perfect 1st family holiday

This was our first family holiday with our 4 month old and it was perfect stay. It’s clean and tidy throughout. The rooms were a lovely size and cool during the summer heatwave. The garden is perfect as well as it gets the sun all day long. Location is excellent, walking distance to everything but not in the heart of St David’s so evenings are peaceful

My hub and I needed a location in St Davids near beaches, play park and shops for a break away with our grandchildren aged 4&7. Ty Haf was perfect and exceeded our expectations. The accommodation is renovated to a very high standard with a fabulous kitchen/ dining/ lounge which formed the familyhu; szssdoors opening into the level enclosed garden.

A lovely stay at a beautiful property. The property had everything we needed and more. Lovely walks through St Davids and the Coastal walks were within easy distance and we hardly used the car. The house was a great base for a wonderful break in St Davids. It had everything we needed (including a parking space) and was very clean and comfortable. Both Pete the owner and Iris the housekeeper made us feel very welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

We feel so lucky to have found such a comfortable and spacious bungalow to stay in while on holiday in St David’s. It is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean with good quality furniture, bedding and equipment. (which is more than we can say for a couple of other cottages we have stayed in here over the years!) it is light and airy with a fully enclosed garden which will give you piece of mind if you have children or a dog. The utility area in the garage was also such a bonus. There is parking for one car and many guests left their car there the whole time and popped on and off the coastal buses, making for a really relaxing holiday. The owner and housekeeper were so helpful and on hand if we had any queries, either in person or by phone or text. I would highly recommend this property.

This property has all that you could wish for, so comfortable and spacious it was a pleasure to return to after a day out walking the stunning coastal paths. The location is perfect, handy for the local supermarket and a 5 min walk into the centre of St Davids which has a variety of good restaurants, cafés and pubs. The bungalow has parking on the drive, a rare find in this city! We stayed for 2 weeks and didn't use the car, the bus stop conveniently close enabled us to get to the local towns and villages to walk this amazing coastline. The property had all the facilities required, spotlessly clean, light and airy, quality furnishings and bedding and a lovely sunny garden. Pete and Iris made sure we had everything we needed, thank you both. We loved it so much we have booked again for next year!

We had a wonderful Christmas stay at Ty Haf. The property is cosy but spacious and has everything you need, there was even a decorated Christmas tree and selection boxes for the children. There was lots to do in the local area and we enjoyed walking along the coastal path and beaches. Communication with Pete was always very prompt and informative and Iris the housekeeper is a font of local knowledge. We had a wonderful time and did not want to leave. It was our first visit to St David’s and Pembrokeshire, it will not be our last.

I feel a little reluctant to provide this review since it will only serve to make Ty Haf more popular and hence more difficult to book. Ah well... we booked for a weekend in order to attend a wedding in St Davids and from the moment we stepped through the front door we knew we had made the right choice. Superbly presented in a clean, new modern style, the whole house had everything we needed in terms of detail, thoughtfulness and quality. Great location, walled garden and with off street private parking - ticked all the boxes. And dog friendly too - we'll definitely be back - if we can get in!

We felt at home immediately as the property was warm and welcoming. The best was the kitchen/dining and 'family' room - one large room with doors out to an enclosed garden. Here we could cook, eat, chat and relax together (including the dog).

This was the 1st time we had rented a cottage and will hopefully planning a return trip. The accommodation was 1st class and had everything you could wish for and the location excellent. Great supermarket, pubs & shops all within easy walking distance. Peter arranged for Iris to call to check if any problems. There was so much taken into account for families with young children. Ty Haf is a beautiful property in the heart of St Davids, 100 yards from the impressively stocked supermarket and within walking distance of a host of excellent restaurants. The property itself was spotlessly clean with every mod con needed for a comfortable stay and it was great to have off road parking. Thanks to Iris for the walking tips also, Caerfai Beach is an easy walk from Ty Haf, even with two young children and an over-stocked picnic bag. We'd love to return to St Davids, hopefully soon, as there is so much to do and see there and in the surrounding area and wouldn't hesitate to stay at Ty Haf again. Visited in December 2017 for the weekend to attend the carol service at St Davids cathedral. The property is perfect for a short or long break. Spacious, fuly fitted, well maintained and in a perfect location. Xmas tree was a bonus. The owner Pete was extremely helpful with check in and helped to make the trip perfect. Thank you so much - we will certainly be returning and recommending the property.

Ty Haf is convenient for supermarket (a 2 min walk), and the town centre, with all the shops and cathedral - great for teenagers who are old enough to explore by themselves. We spent time at white sands beach, a 10 minute drive or about an hour's walk away. We watched a seal in the bay at twilight. We also walked along the coastal path, and enjoyed turning off along the way to the little National Trust car park at Porth Clais for coffees and ice-cream, and then up to the Walpole Court hotel for scones and cream and a refreshing lager. We also went on an kayaking expedition which ended at the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddy. I also recommend the guided tour at St David's Cathedral, and the little exhibition area for £1 before you enter the cathedral. The refectory cafe had good food and good views. All good.

The property was immaculate, well equipped and beautifully decorated. Within walking distance of St.Davids amenities, shops and eateries we could enjoy all there was to offer in the town on foot. The beaches and Pembrokeshire footpath were easy to reach and we could enjoy the breathtaking scenery at every turn.

A wonderful 3 bedroom bungalow which is finished to a very high standard. My husband and I found the place very comfortable and spacious. When in the cottage we spent most of our time in the kitchen/diner/small lounge area with the patio doors open, as we had such lovely weather. Everything we needed was provided. The washing machine in the garage was effecient, there was a clothes hanger and also a washing line in the garden. The location is excellent, convenient to walk into St Davids, there is a reasonably sized supermarket within easy walking distance. The bungalow is also on the local bus route, which is great for getting around the area. The communication with Pete was also very good via email and text message. Pete highly recommend the local ice cream shop on the main road, which we frequented several times during our stay. Would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in St Davids, in a very well appointed, spacious property. We definatly be staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ty Haf and were so pleased with the layout of the property. It has all been extremely well thought out and everything is of such a high standard. I would certainly go back and would recommend it without any hesitation.
