Spring Grove Dairy Picturesque views

The charming rustic ambience, beautiful views and garden verandah. Appreciated the supplies of tea coffee etc. Large stove and well stocked kitchen.

One of our guests complained about the bed being uncomfortable in the twin single bedroom. Eggs and butter were provided but no milk? We couldn't get the coffee machine to work.

WiFi was not available all the time. It kept dropping off. Also a few more mirrors in the bedrooms would have been helpful.

This is the perfect property for a getaway. Beautiful and isolating location but still only 10 min drive from town. Rooms are spacious and cozy, kitchen is stocked with everything you need and lots of cute nooks around the place to entertain. I've stayed here before and will do so again.

The rustic interior is as per the photos, which was good. Kitchen was well functioning. The 'basic pantry' was not up to scratch and what was there could have been replaced. On arrival there was a basket of farm fresh eggs and a carton of milk in the fridge left for us which was good. Beds were comfortable, as were the pillows. Lots of extra blankets and throws to use. Towels were big and soft. BBQ was big and plenty of gas.

The photos are not a true reflection of what the property looks like - they are quite a few years old. It would have been nice to look out the main bedroom doors and see the beautiful views. Unfortunately only one door opens. The path to the entrance of the house was overgrown as was the path over the little bridge. Hard to hold a 2 year old's hand and walk across with him as the trees had overgrown. The front lawn was great, mowed and great for a game of cricket or tennis. There were outdoor games to play as well which was good. The second bedroom was freezing cold at night, whereas all the other bedrooms were pleasant (even with the fire going).
