Stayed for the weekend for a birthday getaway it had everything we needed and in reasonable distance to the things we wanted to do. The only thing we didn’t like was the hot tub cover was extremely heavy and water logged so I think it should be replaced in the future completely impossible to put back on by yourself. Overall great little place

I really want to write and give this property an A, but I can’t.. the photos of the home absolutely do it justice- the bathroom and kitchen remodel are lovely. The home itself is very nice. The beds are comfortable and the hot tub is in working order.What didn’t work for us— it has a horrible musty ‘old’ smell that even my hard of smelling husband picked up. The smell didn’t go away even after we were there for a few days (we had to buy fabreeze to mask the smell). The home says that it is ‘pet free’ altho, we found dog hair in our ‘fresh’ sheets, towels and on couch cushions.There was an active spider situation, and upon closer inspection- there were noticeable spider webs, and dust up high and on light fixtures, etc. The front and back decks look like they need a good sweep before guests arrive. It would go a long way to making guests feel welcome and comfortable in this space. The pine needle build up looked like it hadn’t been touched in weeks. I almost looked for a broom myself.Lastly, this may or may not bother you- but there are several personal photos up on the walls and around the home. That was a first for us- we felt weird about it— like we were intruding on their space. We did have a nice stay, the home was cozy- but it needs a deep clean, assuming carpet shampoo and just some greater attention to cleaning detail.
