About this castle / palace rental

Independent 2-bedroom apartment in the amazing Castle Schloss Saarfels. Located in Germany in quiet village near the border to Luxembourg, France and Belgium. Views to the Riesling vineyards and the river Saar. The castle has his own park, terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue. 2 bedrooms with 1 bathroom (shower) and kitchen. Also access to laundry machine. The apartment is completely renovated, and the kitchen is very confortable too. 1 bedroom with king-size bed and optional bed, 2 bedroom with 2 separate beds Housekeeper and breakfast are optional. Parking available. Ideal for family or romantic escape. Close to Saarburg city, and also 30 km from Luxembourg and the oldest german city Trier. Gastronomic experience in the french part, famous foie-grass restaurant. The area of Mosel-Saar rivers are producing the finest german Riesling wines. Close to Luxembourg airport (35 km) and Frankfurt-Hahn airport (65 km). Relaxing place with history and great surrounds

Tolle Location, macht richtig Spaß. Leider ist das fünfte Bett nur ein Klappbett, nicht für große Leute und das Bad ist nur durch ein Schlafzimmer zu erreichen. Die Lage ist traumhaft, die Küche ist riesig, toller Grill. Wer mal Burgherr sein will ist in Serrig super aufgehoben.

Living in a castle at the top of the village is definitely a very nice way to visit the Saar area. This beautyful part of Germany is a great place to visit but being guests in this location was the best part of it. The rooms are very clean and equipped modern and high-end. The host was always available and very friendly and we definitely recommend this place which we will visit again next time.
