We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The cottage was very comfortable and cosy. The garden was pretty and well kept. A lovely place to sit and relax and wave to passing neighbours. Parking on the property was a bonus.Les Grandes Dalles is a great base to explore the surrounding area and further afield. There are lots of markets in the surrounding villages. We particularly loved Valmont where there is a small nature reserve. We enjoyed walking along the stream and feeding the ducks. My little granddaughter's favourite place.Agnes was an outstanding host, very warm and friendly. She was very approachable and felt we could contact her if we needed anything. Her English was far superior to our French!The beach is a short walk at the end of the road and a lovely place for an evening stroll. There is a fantastic boulangerie where we bought far too many croissants and pastries. There is also an epicerie selling lovely cheeses, a short drive away.The drive from Dieppe ferry port was very straightforward. The roads were quiet and well signposted.Overall we had a wonderful stay at Agnes' charming cottage and exploring this beautiful part of Normandy. We can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you Agnes.

A very cosy and quiet accommodation with a nice seating area outside, surrounded by flowers. The beach and the GR hiking trail are just a few minutes' walk away. The hostess Agnes is very friendly, takes great care of her guests and the communication was also perfect. A highly recommended accommodation.

As soon as we arrived at the Gite we were met by our lovely Host Agnes and we were made to feel welcome, safe and cared for. The Gite was very comfortable and had an effective heating system which coped well with the weather expected at this time of year. Self catering was easy although we ate out on occasions. The low level of traffic on the local roads, also the peace and quiet in the immediate area was an added bonus for us that ensured that we came home refreshed and rejuvenated. Thankyou Agnes and Jacky for your care and attention.

This was the perfect location for our first family foreign holiday which we and the kids enjoyed immensely. Les Grandes Dalles is a beautiful hamlet and, pebbles aside, having the beach at the bottom of the street was ideal. It should be noted that, one small cafe aside, there aren't any shops or businesses within Grandes Dalles itself; there are a few shops in Sassetot a mile or so away, and Carrefour supermarkets at Cany Barville and Valmont - about 20 mins drive to each. There are a few more amenities at Les Petites Dalles and a slightly bigger beach. Les Grandes Dalles a great place from which to explore this corner of Normandy and we made excursions to Etretat, Veules-les-Roses, Veulletes-sur-Mer, Fecamp, Valmont - all beautiful. We even managed to have one night in Paris (via train from Fecamp). The outdoor space was perfect for the kids and the house itself was well-appointed. (one minor concern was that the freezer wasn't cold enough to keep ice cream frozen!) Agnes was a responsive, sensitive and lovely host, responding to any issues ASAP and helping us retrieve some lost property that we left on our departure. Overall we really recommend a stay here, including to British people - the road from the ferry terminal at Dieppe is quick and quiet.

What an amazing little hidden gem - Highly recommend

Having a toddler, finding somewhere to go on holiday that is child friendly can be a challenge, but this gite is perfect. It's in a lovely quiet location just a short walk from a pebble beach. The owners are very friendly and Agnes was very quick to respond to all my queries. I cannot fault her english and we had no issues over communication. A really smooth transaction from start to finish. The holiday home its self, has a lovely gated garden which my daughter adored and the roses are just breathtaking. As a group of 2 couples and 1 toddler, it was the perfect size for all of us without the feeling of tripping over each other. It is very clean and well maintained and we were really pleased that we had chosen it for the week. The kitchen is open plan which was lovely when preparing meals as you didn't end up shut away in a room with no interaction. It made it a very social experience. The electric oven and hob are lovely and new and very straight forward to use. The fact that one bedroom has an en suite worked out perfectly as it meant we had a bathroom for each couple and reduced any waiting times for bathing and getting ready. The bedrooms themselves are large and clean and very welcoming and comfortable. The location is exceptionally quiet, we hardly saw anyone unless we walked down to the beach where there is a small cafe which serves reasonably priced fish and chips and mussels. The locals were friendly when we ventured down on several occasions and we were greeted with a friendly 'Bonjour' which was really nice. There is also a small child's park next to the eatery which is well maintained and gated. We had no issues with parking, there is plenty of space to park on the road although there is a parking space in the garden if needed. Calais and Paris are only 2 and a half hours away by car. There are plenty of supermarkets within a few minutes driving distance. We popped into Fecamp for a day and had an amazing meal at one of the local restaurants. The patisseries had us drooling and going back to the holiday home with pretty boxes filled with cakes. Etretat is also nearby which is a lovely place to visit and walk around, with history, gift shops and restaurants, although parking was tricky. We wanted a relaxing vacation where we could just chill out and recharge and this is an idyll place to do so. I was very pleased with the price to hire the gite and would have no hesitation on returning to stay here in the near future.

Das Ferienhaus ist ideal um in absoluter Ruhe zu entspannen! Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich! Es fehlte uns an nichts und wir haben uns in dem Häuschen sehr wohl gefühlt! Die große Terrasse mit Garten hat eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Natur und ein malerisches Dörfchen. Die Bucht mit ihrer spektakulären Kulisse aus steilen Felsen liegt nur wenige Schritte entfernt! Mit Kleinkindern die noch krabbeln ist die steinige Küste allerdings nicht optimal geeignet. In der ebenfalls schönen Nachbarbucht befindet sich dafür ein Spielplatz am Strand. Der Kontakt mit Agnès war überaus freundlich und unkompliziert! Zudem haben wir hilfreiche Tipps für Ausflüge in die Umgebung erhalten!

Obwohl wir der französischen Sprache nicht mächtig waren ,fühlten wir uns von Madame Agnes sehr gut betreut u. beraten. Wir staunten über die Blumen im Garten,besonders die Rosen. Im 3km entfernten Dorf konnte man die täglichen Lebenmittel besorgen.

Nous sommes absolument satisfaits de notre séjour dans le gîte d'Agnès juste à la fin de l'hiver. Accueil très sympathique et très documenté, le gîte est impeccable, très joli, et tout à fait conforme à nos souhaits et quel silence en fin de journée !! Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans le gîte d’Agnès, le tout sous une météo exceptionnelle pour cette fin octobre. Nous nous sommes régalés entre promenades sur les falaises, visites de ferme, balades quotidiennes sur la plage tout proche, balade à cheval et visites urbaines (Étretat, Saint Valéry en Caux). Le gîte est idéalement placé et confortable et l’accueil d’Agnes, très agréable. Très reposant et l’occasion d’apercevoir ou entendre beaucoup d’animaux, y compris sauvages (sangliers, chouettes, etc.)

Wir verbrachten 14 wunderbare Tage in dem sehr schön gelegenen Ferienhaus mit sehr schöner Terrasse und blumenreichen Garten. Die Gastgeberin war sehr zuvorkommend und liebevoll. Praktisch war auch die Nähe zum Meer und der sehr ruhige Ferienort. Wer Ruhe und Natur sucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Die kleine, sehr gemütliche Unterkunft können wir nur empfehlen. Die Hausherrin ist sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Bis zum Strand sind es nur 300 m. Die Gegend ist sehr gut geeignet zum Wandern, Radfahren und Entspannen. Für uns als Familie fehlte dann doch die Waschmaschine.

Wir haben unvergessliche und wunderschöne Tage hier im Häuschen von Agnes und Jacky verbracht. Die beiden sind unglaublich herzlich, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Selten haben wir so nette und liebenswerte Vermieter gehabt. Das Häuschen selbst ist sehr charmant und traditionell eingerichtet, sehr süß und für 5 Personen passend. Es ist super gelegen, nur ca. 200 Meter vom Strand entfernt. Der Strand ist übrigens durch die eingerahmten spektakulären Felsen auch sehr schön, steinig, aber man kann auch gut schwimmen. Am schönsten ist jedoch das Lichtspiel, zu jeder Tageszeit anders und doch immer wunderschön, die Felsen sind grandios. Auch ist eine kurze Wanderung sehr zu empfehlen, direkt von grand dalles nach petit dalles, die Aussicht ist unglaublich schön. Wir haben viele kleinere Ausflüge unternommen, aber am schönsten war doch die Zeit im Haus und am Strand. Bei Ebbe sind viele Einheimische zu beobachten, die im Watt und Wasser Krebse sammeln. Der Tourismus ist hier sehr ruhig und entspannt. Wirklich ein Ort, an welchem man die Seele baumeln lassen kann und zur Ruhe findet. Für uns fünf alle ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Hier auch nochmal ein großes Dankeschön an Agnes und Jacky! Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Habitation ancienne et traditionnelle Normande avec énormément de charme. Pratique et fonctionnelle pour une famille ( 2 salle de bains, douche), une remise pour les vélos, les bottes, le nécessaire de pêche et plage des enfants, cuisine super équipée . A proximité à pied, d'une mignonne petite plage qui a ravi petits et grands. La région offre de nombreuses opportunités de découvertes. Agnès, la propriétaire est attentionnée et aux petits soins.

Uns hat die Reise begeistert - Les Grandes Dalles ist ein wunderbarer, ruhiger und gemütlicher kleiner Ort. Die Menschen dort sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sofort heimisch. Die Steilküste ist atemberaubend. Man kann tolle Wanderungen unternehmen und viele schöne Örtchen und Städte besichtigen. Das Ferienhäuschen ist sehr hübsch und im Stil der Normandie eingerichtet. Die Hausvermieter sind sehr herzlich und die An- sowie Abreise verliefen reibungslos. Vielen Dank noch einmal an Agnes und ihren Mann - auch für die guten Tipps für unsere Ausflüge. De ontvangst was erg goed en behulpzaam. Fijne introductie. Het huisje was boven verwachting en alles was in ruime mate aanwezig. Wij gingen voor fietsen en wandelen maar dat was door de heuvels toch wat minder maar werd ruimschoots gecompenseerd door de schitterende omgeving en leuke plaatsjes. Door het wat mindere weer zijn wij er veel op uitgetrokken en hebben erg veel gezien. Het was een fantastische maar andere vakantie dan wij gedacht hadden maar zeker geen spijt hiervan. Wij kunnen het iedereen die niet de hele dag in de zon wil liggen en ondernemend is zeker aanraden. Met vriendelijke groeten, Dinie en Gerrit.

Alles sehr schön aber es fehlt dringend ein Toaster um das Brot aufzubacken Das Internet, WLAN ist auch nicht sehr stabil. Mobilnetz geht g ar nicht, kein Empfang, Leider musste ich zwischendurch mal mit dem Lapetop arbeiten und das konnte ich nur außerhalb mobil machen

Het huisje van Agnes was wat we verwachtten van de advertentie. Er is voldoende ruimte en van alles voorzien, ruime keuken. Ons kind van 11 maanden was mee en we konden ons prima redden, bad en bedje waren prima. Huis met veel decoraties, maar sfeervol. We voelden ons thuis. Vijf minuten lopen van de zee, incl de krijtrotsen. GR21 beste klim maar de moeite waard. Agnes is een vriendelijke gastvrouw, bedankt en wie weet tot ziens!

La maison est très bien située, au calme et vraiment pas loin de la mer. Confortable en ayant un cachet ancien on s'y sent chez comme chez soi. Si vous souhaitez vous ressourcer quelques jours, n'hésitez pas pour profiter de cette maison cosy à 200m de la mer, dans un site calme et verdoyant proche du GR 34 pour de superbes balades en haut des falaises. Les Grandes Dalles sont proches de sites. à visiter (Fécamp, Yport, Etretat, Dieppe). Nous avons passé un agréable séjour et nous reviendrons sans hésiter. Nadine

Accueil très sympathique. Le gîte d' Agnès, dans son écrin de verdure, offre beaucoup de charme. Son point fort: la terrasse, où l'on profite du moindre rayon de soleil, du jardin fleuri et de la nature environnante et avec l'été indien de ce début octobre nous avons eu beaucoup de chance. Sa situation est idéale pour découvrir la côte d'albâtre d'Etretat à Dieppe en passant par Yport, Saint Valéry en Caux, Veules les Roses... Juste une petite suggestion: quelques travaux pour rafraichir et éclairer le rez-de-chaussée ne nuiraient pas à son charme.
