About this villa rental
This country house is perfect for nature lovers; indeed with its land of more than 1 hectare, it has a magnificent field of olive trees and a wooded plot that extends to the garrigue, it is located 2 km from the center of the picturesque village of Varages.
This house benefits from all the facilities necessary for a successful stay. In particular, it has two salons. The equipped kitchen includes an oven, a microwave, a capsule coffee maker, a dishwasher, a refrigerator ...
This accommodation has two bedrooms with a double bed each, one bedroom with two single beds and one bedroom with a bunk bed. One of the bathrooms has a bathtub and the other has a walk-in shower. In addition the house has a utility room and two separate WCs. You can also enjoy a large bright veranda nicely furnished with a living room and dining area.
You can also take your meals outside in the shade of the oaks where there is a gas barbecue and a large garden table (10 people max). For the sportsmen, a ground of balls and a table-tennis table are at your disposal.
Finally, deckchairs will be waiting for you by the pool to enjoy the sun and the song of the cicadas.
Varages is located halfway between Haut Var and the Mediterranean coast to the south. 1 hour from Varages you will taste the charm of Provencal villages
(Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, Cotignac, Salernes, Aups) and the beauty of the Lac de Sainte-Croix and the Verdon gorges. Heading south, you will enjoy the crystal clear waters of the Cassis creeks, and the pristine sand of the wild beaches of the island of Porquerolles.
On the picturesque side, many small Provencal markets are held every day of the week in the surrounding villages. A restaurant of traditional French cuisine "Provence" is located on the very square of the village of Varages. You will also find there a bakery, a butcher, a grocery store and a pharmacy. Several other shops are in Barjols, a 10-minute drive away. Finally for wine lovers, estates and cellars will make you taste their Provence wines.

This house is delightful - set in the countryside on a hill above the village. It feels really private and there's loads of space, with a pool, shaded outside sitting areas with a gas BBQ, and air conditioning inside the building. It is surrounded by olive trees, with a place to play boules and a table-tennis table. The kitchen has everything you need and the owners were extremely friendly and helpful - they left us some of their own olive oil and a welcoming bottle of wine. The road to the property is a bit rough once you get to the top of the hill, but is no problem for any car - you just have to take it reasonably slowly - and it's a nice walk down to the village if you want to go by foot (although a fair amount of exercise when you walk back up). The pretty village has a shop, a boulangerie, a pizza shop and a butchers, plus a couple of nice cafes.
