I’ve been working with the kind owners of Mas Dalt since 1998, We make quite a good team. I'm good at presenting the villa and taking care of their bookings, and they are good at maintaining the villa and taking good care of guests while they are here. Set on a private hillside estate 🌳, this historic Catalan property is quite unique. It has been restored and expanded to now legally accommodate 17 bedrooms with beds for 34+ guests, a rarity in the region where most villas cap at 12 bedrooms and 20 or so guests.
💫 3 fully independent apartments span two houses, each with:
• 🍳 A full kitchen (dishwasher & washing machine included)
• 🛋️ Dining/living areas with fireplace, stereo, and TV
• 🍖 Outdoor seating & BBQ zones
👨👩👧👦 Whether you’re a large family gathering, hosting a retreat, or planning a multi-family holiday, Mas Dalt is designed to bring people together while giving everyone plenty of space.

• A massive 120 m² indoor salon in the 10-bedroom main house, perfect for gathering everyone under one roof
• A 130 m² covered wooden-beamed terrace with panoramic views over the pool
• A charming stone-arched porch with BBQ & picnic tables, both lit for magical outdoor dinners ✨
🏡 The owners — kindhearted, discreet local dairy farmers — live just down the hill in a nearby mansion. They’re on hand if needed but always respect your privacy. 🌾
🛣️ Mas Dalt is the final stop on the road — no through traffic, just peace, nature, and a beautiful walks starting from your front door, like to the 12th-century church of Santa Maria de Camós ⛪.
📌 Please note: 🔇 This is not a party house so as of about midnight or 1am, noise levels must be normal. This is not a good villa for late night parties.

- altitude: 200 m, 35 km to sea, 2 km to town, 4 km to a dozen supermarkets at Banyoles roundabout.

- 20 km to the Golf Club of Girona, 5 other golf courses nearby.

At last a property where you can really say "the more the merrier!". Mas Dalt is unique. Situated on a huge 15-hectare (over 37 acres) hillside wooded property with great views, this rental villa offers 17 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms in three different fully independent and spacious living quarters. There are a total of 13 double beds and 17 single beds, not counting extra beds and cots for babies. Situated 4 kms east of Banyoles beautiful old town and lake, 2 km to Camós, 35 km inland from the Costa Brava beaches, this is an ideal area for holiday-makers.
Outside:The good-sized kidney shaped pool is surrounded by 14 lounge chairs, a couple of different tables and chairs under parasols, and there is a poolside bathroom with shower so that you don't have to go into the house to go. In front of the main house is a large sloping lawn about half the size of a regulation football pitch, and there are two movable goal posts for football.
On both sides of the larger house are large playing fields with different outdoor sitting areas, two of which have BBQs for outdoor meals, although I guess most of you will have meals together on the huge terrace above the pool.
The location is excellent, and I´m not saying that just because my wife and I have been renting little a place just on the other side of Banyoles for years now. Nearby Banyoles (4 km away) is a market town with a huge array of shopping, including an impressive collection of no fewer than 12 supermarkets set around one traffic circle, but also you´ll find a weekly farmers market on the 11th Century arcaded square, and a huge variety of little specialty shops like butchers, bakers, fresh fruit and fishmongers, etc, in the historic pedestrian center of the old town. While the beaches are about 35 km away, mostly highway driving (the C-66 highway exit is 3 km from the house!), you have closer to home the lovely environmentally protected lake of Banyoles, with its grassy beaches with lifeguards on duty, and the open playing fields and bike paths going all the way around the lake. Be sure to read my extensive guide to the excellent restaurants in this area. I know the area very well as it is where my family and I have spent many of our summers!

A great place for a group to spend time together in a cosy place outside the city. The facilities have various rooms and lounges and a nice outside area and a pool. The host was responsive and communication was good.

This large house was fantastic for our Rowing club visiting for world’s Masters regatta, in Banyoles. There was so much room for everyone multiple kitchens we loved the outdoor grill made paella one night for 30 people the pool was fantastic. The host was fantastic and very communicative. It was easy and a wonderful stay for our group.

Amazing property - family celebration for 20 with plenty of rooms and bathrooms and the outside terrace was perfect for meals and games. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and Josep the owner was on hand to greet us and show us around the vast property. We had mixed weather but this did not spoil our holiday - would love to return

Amazing property, unbelievable views. Everything we needed for our group stay. Charlie and Josep were very helpful and friendly. We all had the best time.
