🏡 I’ve been working with the kind owners of this villa since 1998, We make quite a good team. I'm good at presenting the villa and taking care of their bookings, and they are good at maintaining the villa and takin with:

👨👩👧👦 Whether you’re a large family gathering, hosting a retreat, or planning a multi-family holiday, this villa is designed to bring people together while giving everyone plenty of space.

• A massive 80 m² indoor salon/dining area with 10m high ceilings and terrac, perfect for gathering everyone under one roof
• A covered wooden-beamed gazebo with panoramic views over the pool

🏡 The owners — kindhearted, discreet local dairy farmers — live just down the hill in a nearby mansion. They’re on hand if needed but always respect your privacy. 🌾

- huge & gorgeous independent baronial manor of 1100m2 on a 15 hectare private property. The owners live 3 kms away.
- divided into 3 separate living quarters but always rented to the same group in exclusivity.
-apartment 1: 5 en suite bedrooms (3 with double beds; 2 with double beds plus 2 single beds each).
-apartment 2: 4 bedrooms share 1 large double bathroom (2 rooms with double beds; 1 room with 2 single beds; 1 room with 1 single bed).
- apartment 3: 3 en suite bedrooms (1 with double bed and 2 rooms with 2 double beds each).
- total of 12 bedrooms: 8 with private bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with shared bathroom, plus 3 WCs in common areas
- so in fact there are beds for 31 guests, 12 double beds (150x190cm) & 7 single beds (90x190cm). Some additional fold out beds and cots available
-central heating, so comfy year round
-3 full kitchens, 3 living rooms (1=80m2), 3 separate terraces, 3 dishwashers, etc
-2 outdoor BBQ and seating areas for all guests together, lit at night for outdoor meals

- rental rates based on 25 guests. For over 25 guests, a supplement of €120 applies in low-season, and €160 in the mid & high-season. For weekend bookings, the supplement for 25+ guests is €25 per person per night.
The outdoors: the 12x5 meter swimming pool is on a wide lawn just below the house with plenty of shade trees, 16 deck chairs, and a small WC & changing room & small table under a nicely decorated pool house. Oh, and there is also a poolside shower, and the owners have bought a ping pong table which gets moved around from place to place.
Remember that all water on this property comes from a private on-site well, so no problem with good quality water supply no matter how dry it gets.
There are many outdoor eating areas, but the most popular is under the stone arches next to a barbecue pit near the main doorway into the villa On the other side of the main entrance to the house is the 100m2 game room, with ping pong, a pool table and a babyfoot table. Beyond the game room is the washroom with two washing machines and a clothes drier and a sink for hand washing.
In short, this is a high-quality & no-risk rental, offered at very competitive rates. A great villa with a proven track record since the year 2000. I think there are about 15 unanimously 5-star reviews in our VRBO advert. The owners and I make a great team. I have nearly 30 years of experience taking care of the bookings and the guests up to the rental dates, and then the owners take over when the guests get here. The owners do a fantastic job. Everything runs so smoothly, it’s a joy to work with them. I’ve been working with two generations of them since 1998!

The pictures of the property don’t do the location justice. It is a very beautiful setting with amazing views. House is large enough to have 18 people in without being on top of each other. The only thing I would say is that the beds are quite small - having said that we were a bunch of rowers. Was a great place to spend a week rowing at World Masters

We had an amazingly wonderful week here at Can Tapis. The villa had looked pretty amazing on the website but the reality surpassed all expectations. First of all the rooms with their ensuite bathroom facilities were very well fitted out and the beds were big and comfortable. Then the halls and rooms for dining and relaxation were splendid and spacious; the central one being really imposing with its huge oak beams and grand proportions. We felt quite royal! Then the terraces! They were wonderful! Three different ones and all offering magnificent views over the rolling countryside. Idyllic. Also perfect for breakfasts in the morning and gin and tonic in the evening.Then there were the games room and the swimming pool, both well equipped and clean. They were much used by young and old alike.Our host Josep and his mother Rosa were very kind and helpful throughout. The agent Charlie was swift and efficient in communication, and gave us invaluable information. Their local knowledge of restaurants and food outlets were a godsend.The kitchens were well equipped with utensils and crockery, though the coffee-makers could be updated.The greatest thing about the house was its marvellous character - so many nooks and crannies and surprising connections. We all loved it!Girona and the environs are beautiful and historic, with plenty to explore in its architecture and art. Plus things like the water park and the go-karting were huge attractions for the young. GREAT HOLIDAY!

We were almost 30 but the property is big enough to be quiet. Rooms are big and confortable. As we experienced a very hot weather (37), air conditionner would be a plus. We were fully satisfied.
