It would be impossible to choose any one thing as standing out above another at this property as every single aspect was outstanding, from the initial contact with the owner, to the home, itself, the amenities, cleanliness, the surrounding property, the incredible dock, location, and the town. I really hate to brag too much because I want this to be our own secret oasis but the truth is I couldn't find a single thing to not love about our entire stay here. It is truly one of the best VRBO rentals we've every had. The owners could not have been more helpful, friendlier, or accommodating, before, during, and even after our stay. The home, itself, is absolutely stunning, as is the property it sits on. I would daresay it's one of the best pieces of property in Beaufort, situated right on Taylor Creek. The photos online do not do the home justice. It is truly beautiful in person. The views are stunning, so even from inside the home, you feel like you are outside. And if you do any cooking like we do, we were thrilled to find the kitchen stocked with really good quality cookware, not the usual scratch and dent kind that should've been thrown out years before. It was the perfect vacay for our family, friends, and doggo. Our greatest joy was probably time spent on the dock every day watching the boats cruise Taylor Creek, the almost daily visits from the wild ponies grazing on the island across the creek, the dolphins playing in front of us, and visits from the various sea birds.

We stayed for 5d in the winter. The property is on the channel, and it sits within a quiet neighborhood. The owners were responsive once we made contact with them. The decor is nautical and there are lots of board games in the unit for family time. However, we found ourselves minimizing our time in the unit because it was difficult for us to breathe. The owners, to disinfect the air and surfaces the he home, fill it with ozone between visitors. I have exercise-induced asthma, which I think this exacerbated. The property has been smoked in and pets have stayed there. We normally do fine around light amounts of these indoor allergens, but when we turned in for the night, we breathed dust and dander from the comforters and developed stuffy noses and more coughing. I had difficulty breathing and sleeping during the nights.
