A quality, affordable stay at a small cosy hotel in Edirne

Thank you very much to all of the kind staff for their hospitality during my stay at Otel 22 in Edirne. The location is central with many convenient public transport connections nearby. I was assigned a clean, comfortable air-conditioned room on a high floor, complete with a private balcony - the perfect spot for sunbathing and enjoying a relaxing cup of tea. A good breakfast is served in the morning. The booking was absolutely outstanding value for money and I would happily book again 10/10.

A functional stay.

The hotel is located in a very safe area, easily connected to the city center (15 min walk). A simple breakfast is offered form 7:30 to 9am. Check-in and check-out were quickly done. Private bathroom, vey functional.

I hope they can pay more attention to a few details, like the quality of the mattresses. The bathroom is small, without any partition protecting the shower area, and the toilet seat is too thin and unstable.

Pay a bit more if u want sleep

Lay in bed with ear lugs, that type of hotel. The room had no soundproofing, so it was super noisy, from staff up all night, pipework, the pressure pump and the family gathering in the hotel yard (out side the window) which went until 5am, light shone through the door jam, straight in my eyes. Pay a bit more & stay somewhere that will enable you to get some sleep. Maybe every room is not as noisy as ours & as well illuminated, but don't take the risk.

See positives. Had a 4 hr cycle the next day, on barely any sleep.

Bearable for one night stay

The staff are friendly. They don't speak English, but communication was no problem as they were using google translate. Parking on the street is available in front of the hotel. They offer free of charge coffee and tea in the morning.

The rooms are very small. The folding bed wasn't very stable and was squeaky. There was a razor left in the bathroom from the previous guests, which was not a pleasant thing to see and makes you think about how good the room was cleaned. Our room was on the ground floor, just 5 meters away from the reception desk and the hotel entrance which made the stay a bit noisier than expected.

Good to stay for a night or two, pleasant hosts

The hosts and the receptionist in this hotel are very pleasant and charming. It is situated in a calm part of the city and near the city centre. There are a lot of restaurants nearby. The room is clean and tidy. There are slippers and bath equipment. The hosts will gladly make you tea or coffee.

But the room is so small that it is hard to move. The shower is almost on the toilet. The electricity is not very stable: I put on the bedside lamp in the socket—and the electricity went off in the half of the rooms on our floor.

Great experience

Lovely city, great people, nice staff and a very comfortable hotel. Also a great kitchen and dining room where we made the tea like our country.

Bathroom should have a muslim shower who want to wash before using tissues.
