Beautiful property with a very romantic country view. The space is generous and well equipped, and I recommend arriving as early as possible to enjoy the place longer. I don't know anyone who wouldn't enjoy its serenity. The host is very responsive.
While the property looks beautiful, just like in the pictures, everything from the floors to the furniture is in poor condition.
Many things feel on the verge of falling apart, like the chairs in the living room.
Another downside is the food. I would not recommend ordering breakfast or meals. I ordered a special breakfast and a birthday cake for my husband, but received a huge disappointment.

It was extremely easy. Unfortunately we arrived much later than we had hoped, but we let ourselves in with the code then retrieved the keys from the keybox. it could not have been easier or more convenient!
The only thing that wasn't great was the pillows. The bed itself was so comfortable, but the pillows felt cheap and lumpy, maybe something to look at for a property of this quality. Everything else was great!

It is a perfect place. We loved it with my family. Close to D-day, Barefleur, Saint Vaast with car.
Our stay was too short!

Loved the quirkiness. Beautiful and unique historic building.
The downstairs bedroom was a problem. It was very damp and musty, there were plants and algae growing on the walls. My friends clothes and bedsheets were wet and any longer than a few days sleeping in that environment could result in serious health implications for someone with chest or breathing issues. A serious plumbed in dehumidifier is needed

This property is an absolute gem! we created the most amazing memories among such a beautiful space. we cannot wait to book our next visit.
The bikes and sporting equipment were the icing on the cake for our children. They loved biking the nearby villages and playing putt putt and soccer just up the street. The views were surreal and allowed us an experience of a lifetime.

It was beautiful. The surroundings were peaceful and lovely. it felt private and homey.
The parking was not great. we had to park far away from our rooms. At night the path to the parking area was not lit.

Hmm, there were nice things about this property but too many negatives for my liking. The facilities are like the photos and it is very clean and well equipped. The grounds are very spacious & definitely pleasant. It is close to the beach and nearby towns & supermarkets. It's also not far from the motorway. We liked the independence but not the total lack of communication during the stay, even in an emergency. The welcome drink/olive oil & biscuits are a lovely touch.
Firstly, the instructions were emailed to us a day before leaving & they were all in French despite good communications in English beforehand. I asked for a translation but no reply to my email. This might be a problem for some people. I was able to translate with a bit of effort. The arrival was bad. There is NO parking by the property despite many driveways right up to the property. This isn't clear in the listing. I was pretty upset at having to park quite far from our apartment, dragging my heavy suitcase along a gravelled stones, not smooth, path uphill whilst staring at the excellent car access right to the door that we weren't allowed to use. I thought this ruined my stay to be honest until the power cut later. Anyone elderly should absolutely reconsider staying here on these grounds. Next, the second bedroom of the Pavilion Bas has nice French doors which open onto a small terrace. This terrace is for the apartment upstairs. This means that, if you have the doors open or curtains open, strangers can stare into your room from their chairs & table a metre away. Thirdly, there are people wandering around all the time. It's quiet for sure, but this is a wedding venue, so people visiting, staff & others are wandering around all day. Finally, we had a complete power cut on the second day for over 4 hours. The emergency number you are given goes to a voicemail. We think it was out in the area but no one called us or emailed us to explain what was going on so we had no idea when it would be restored. I emailed them and no answer at all. We eventually got through to the company but they didn't speak English and just said 'power cut'. That's it. There were thunderstorms and it was dark so we had to use candles for light. Considering this was a birthday stay and we had planned to show videos and cook a lunch, it was disappointing. No one ever got in touch with us about the power afterwards either.

Noisy work from the gardener early on the last morning of our stay

Old, rustic and parking was 50 meters away. Not for everybody. With that said it is a private and beautiful space with full, functional kitchen. Next to an old, old church which rang its (beautiful) bells often. Views are deluxe from virtually all shuttered windows. Stairways up and down treacherous, but functional. Old castle ruins an added esthetic. The parking away is actually a plus because the entire facility is car free views and definitely enhances the beauty for all. Location is perfect for D-day beaches, Bayeaux, Barfluer and numerous small wonderful villages. We were very careful about driving and drinking, of course, so our last evening we opened a bottle of wine and then walked 300 yards or so, down to L’Escale restaurant and had a great meal, with another glass! Obviously, highly recommend with caution towards the funky.
The Pigeoneer that we rented was a three story, with one bedroom up and one down. Both super cool spots. It was only my wife and I and for these three nights.I wish we would have been with another couple.

Beautiful place, beautifully decorated, super well-equipped and very comfortable
We stayed in the bottom floor of the 'Pavillon'. There is only one thing we didn't like: the acoustics. For several days during our stay, there were people occupying the floor above and we could hear everything. The heating system was also very noisy every time they used hot water. The place is otherwise very nice, but could be a nightmare if you have other visitors above. If it wasn't for that, we would give it full marks.

We loved the manoir, the interiors, furniture, kitchen, everything! Beautiful gardens. Bikes, tennis rackets available. It was off season so very quiet in te area. We managed to find some lovely restaurants at St. Vaast.
After a complaint we switched houses. The keepers were helpful and got us into the manoir. Absolutely stunning. A bit of old France right at home.
