There are a group of 10 of us in a book club that have been coming here now for five consecutive years. This house is so welcoming and comfortable and has everything you could possibly need! All of the linens and bedding are beautiful and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen is such a nice bonus and there is soft Padded seating on the deck with a beautiful view of the lake! Enough tables outside to seat us all. More Adirondack chairs were added in the yard around the fire pit. The decorations are so in tune with Lake life! I foresee us coming here for many years to come. Thank you to Kim and Stan for everything, including delivering more firewood when we overused😍

The beds are so comfortable and the bedding is high end and pretty. My sisters and their families joined us for a week in Ashtabula. We were there to honor our parents, who had passed. The house was big enough for all of us to be together, yet also had places where we could each get away for quiet reflection when needed. The hosts were extremely nice! The view is beautiful and relaxing, and the porch/outdoor grill area is absolutely perfect!

There are not enough word to describe all the tiny details that went into the perfection of this locations! Stan met us, even though we arrived late at night and in the rain, to greet us and make sure we got all settled in and felt comfortable and safe. All rooms were decorated, supplied and accommodated to meet any needs you might have! The living room was the perfect cozy spot to watch the fall waves on the lake. Every guest in our party noticed new details and we all shared our disbelief that our hosts could possibly think of everything! Our only wish is we could have stayed longer. The checkout process was quick, easy and all the things you would do as a good guest anyways. We loved our stay and are already planning our next trip!

My husband and I take both sides of our immediate family on a long weekend getaway every summer and this was by far our favorite. The communication with Kim and Stan was excellent. The check in process was seamless. The house was very clean. And THE VIEW was incredible. We saw beautiful sunsets and pretty much spent all of our time in the backyard and on the back deck. The outdoor setup couldn’t have been more perfect! The neighborhood was very quiet, but also close enough that we could easily get to the strip so the grandparents could watch the kiddos and the parents could go out for a bit! There were so many little things within the house that really added a “special touch” to our experience and make it stand out from other places we have been. We have been trying to find a property and location that we love so that we can just book the same house every year for our trip and I think this will be that place!

This property was so much more beautiful in person than what shows on the site. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The home is simply charming and was perfect for our group. We took our senior girls Girl Scout troop for one last getaway and it exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and perfect accommodations. I absolutely loved the antique furniture throughout the home. The property was exceptional. We spent a lovely relaxing weekend enjoying the company of one another. The town had so many cute and eclectic little shops that were fun to look at and explore. The neighborhood was very pleasant. This location is perfectly set right on the water and provided stunning sunsets. The hime included absolutely everything one could need and more than most properties I’ve experienced. The owners literally thought of everything. We all were so pleased with this property and would definitely recommend.

This home is just wonderful! It was the perfect location for our annual book club weekend. We've stayed many places but this is by far the best. It is so charming, beautifully cared for, clean, nicely appointed and very roomy. The linens and other touches were hotel-like. And the setting is perfect - views of Lake Erie from most all windows, great decks and a cozy screened in porch. We loved making a fire in the firepit and enjoyed great meals around the huge dining room table. Karen was so easy to deal with and very responsive to any and all of our questions. We would love to come back next year.

This home was beautiful and extremely clean. It has a fabulous yard and you are right on the water. The home is stocked with everything you could need. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a kitchen that was more fully stocked than this one. The family who owns it were wonderful. Excellent customer service. Kim was lovely. She met us and explained where things were on the property. The house was clean and her folder had a lot of options for food in it. The sunroom and wrap-around porch were great and we had a great view of the lake. Also close to wineries and restaurants. We had a great time and would love to come back and experience the lake when it’s warmer too!

My book club has been getting together annually at different rental homes for about 18 years. This is by far the best home we’ve been at. The view of the lake is spectacular! The home is spotlessly clean and there are so many extra touches. The outdoor space (decking with lots of tables and chairs) is perfect! The kitchen has everything you could ask for including a basket of cookies! Lots of thought by the owners who were very responsive to everything. Our only wish would be a second refrigerator perhaps in the basement? We kept coolers on the deck instead of refrigerating beverages so we made do. Or perhaps we need to bring less food for our group of 11. 😍 You won’t regret staying here. Even a large library of DVD’s. We already booked for next year!

My family loved the house! The attention to detail was obvious. The kitchen really is fully stocked. There was a big bag of ice in the freezer! A welcome tray with snacks. New toothbrushes and toiletries in the bathroom! The antiques were exquisite. The decor enhanced the lake side experience, loved them all. There were 13 of us and the dinning room actually accommodated everyone! The beds were cozy, made with quality linen. There is a beautiful gas fireplace. You would swear it was real wood burning. We did have trouble lighting the fireplace, however the owners came right over and lit it for us. They were very accessible when needed. We enjoyed the sunset in the sun room. The view doesn't disappoint. We took advantage of the big grill and appreciated the provided chopped firewood for the nice size fire pit.

We loved this home and may return in the future. The view of the lake is amazing and the home itself was charming, cozy, and clean. One note: once making your reservation on VRBO, you’ll be directed to a separate site to manage the reservation and final payment. I would have preferred it all be though VRBO since that’s where we started. In the end, everything was fine and I only had one extra log in and password to remember than I was expecting.
