Our stay had some positives, but overall we left disappointed.The beds were comfortable, and the house was generally clean and adequate for our group. However, the property is advertised to accommodate 13 guests, yet the main living room only had seating for about 9 people. The largest couch was extremely hard and uncomfortable. There was also a sunroom, but it faced a busy street with constant traffic noise, so we never used it. Another gathering room with lots of windows could have been a nice space for family time, but it had no TV and the furniture was also very hard and uncomfortable.What bothered us most was how closely we felt we were being monitored. The owners live just a few steps away, and their son lives next door. Throughout our stay, it felt like we were being micromanaged rather than welcomed as guests.Check-in was at 3:00 PM, but we didn't arrive until 7:00 PM, essentially losing four hours of the time we had paid for. Checkout, however, was strictly enforced at 10:00 AM. As we were loading our vehicles to leave, my grandson had an accident and needed a diaper change before we could get on the road. At 10:08 AM, the owner came over to tell us that the cleaning person had arrived and cleans at 10:00. Considering we were only eight minutes past checkout and were dealing with a small child, the interaction felt unnecessary and unkind.To make matters worse, the owner also snapped at my son-in-law and told him to move the garbage to another part of the driveway
