About this apartment rental
A large 2 bedroom apartment with private garden located in the heart of La Zenia. The apartment also features 2 double bedrooms, spacious lounge, separate dining room, fitted kitchen, terrace & bathroom. The garden is fully enclosed making it perfect for dogs and features an outdoor dining area and barbecue. Guests also have access to the huge communal swimming pool and also there is also a huge communal barbecue area.
The apartment is located just a 10 minute walk from the beautiful La Zenia beach and also a 10 minute walk from La Zenia Boulevard which is a shoppers haven with all the major retailers like Zara, Primark, H&M, Jack Jones,Mango, Pull & Bear and many many more. The Boilevard also features restaurants for every budget, nightly entertainment, bars, children's activity areas, bowling alley & other leisure activities dependent on the time of year.
There are also lots and lots of bars & restaurants located on the doorstep of the property and there is a huge supermarket within a 2 minute walk of the property.
***Please note that there is a 60 Euro cleaning/keyholding fee payable on arrival to the cleaner - This is compulsory but is a standard charge for renting apartments in Spain***

Ideal for a couple or small family...or as us a group of 2. Pool was nearby and family friendly. Roz made check so easy and Rus kept me updated on line.

We stayed in the property over Christmas & New Year. All communication with the property owner was excellent, they got back to any questions very quickly.
The property was clean & tidy on arrival. Location is fantastic, 10 minutes walk to the beach, la zenia boulevard & 2-5 minutes to local bars, restaurants & shops.
The biggest issue we had (and wish we'd known about before hand) is this property is completely shaded. It wasn't something I'd thought about given the sun loungers pictured on the front terrace. However, this property has a block of apartments at the back & front of them & is north facing. This meant the apartment was very cold & damp. The damp literally climbed the walls & ceilings in all rooms despite trying to keep the windows & front door open in the day. I doubt this is an issue for anybody staying for a week but after 18 nights it was everywhere. There is a drain in the dining room which feeds the apartments above & the water doesn't fully drain away. The sitting water ended up smelling foul & I contacted the owner who assured me this was normal & to put Bleach down the drains (none was left for us, but we were offered reimbursements). So we ended up eating Christmas Dinner & other meals with the lovely smell of Bleach. I wouldnt like to think what the smell would be like during the hot summer months. The sofa in the living room was literally falling to bits making it very uncomfortable, but for a holiday let most people can cope with that.
On the whole the apartment served it's purpose. However, I certainly wouldn't book this apartment during the cold months again due to the damp & cold. The apartment complex is very well kept, clean & tidy with a nice pool area.
